I brought my truck here for transmission . They did a horrible job. Got the truck back after 6 weeks and it was not shifting correctly, it was going into limp mode, un-drivable and also leaking transmission fluid badly. Long story short I took the truck back in several times trying to correct the problems, each time it was there for weeks at a time and they shipped the truck off to some other location each time as well and would not tell me where it was. each time it came back with new scratches, filthy inside and still not correctly fixed. They kept telling me how "complicated" this transmission was and claiming that the TCM was no good and supposedly replaced that a few times claiming each time they received a bad part again....it was an absurd nightmare. finally they seemed to have it fixed, it lasted about a month then started slipping again pretty frequently, since the check engine light was not coming on I was told there was nothing wrong and to "just drive it like that" I did not want to take it in again so I did just drive it like that for almost 3 years slipping between 3rd and 4th consistently. It finally fully broke again.It was still under their warranty (he tried to lie at first and say it was only covered for a year but I have paperwork showing a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty) but it didn't really matter anyway because my experience with them was so bad and I was so tired of not having a correctly working transmission that I went out of pocket and payed another shop to do the work (cost me $7200) somehow the new place was able to do the work in less than a week , replaced the broken transmission and all components and everything works perfectly. Dealing with Anthem was a truly horrible experience, I do not know how this place can even be in business. Steve and his wife are friendly at first but the second anything goes wrong or you DARE to call and check in on your vehicle that has been there for weeks or months the shitty attitude shows up, dismissive , talk over you , don't listen, pretend to completely forget who you are...you name it. They should not own a business, they do not have integrity and should have never ever allowed me to go thru such an ordeal. I am glad it is over and will never go there again.Things go wrong , I understand that but it is how you handle it that matters and this was not handled well.

What a wonderful experience I had at Anthem Automotive. I would highly recommend this repair shop. There was great communication about the work and prices upfront. I never felt pressured to do more than what was asked to look at. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and professional.

The owner said he was an honest business but he turned out to be the opposite his secretary and himself told me if I pay for a diagnostic test and later he does the work on the car he would deduct the 150 dollar diagnostic fee. In my case I asked to do the diagnostic due to my transmission having issues but he took it upon himself to replace oxygen sensor and charged me for fixing sensor and diagnostic. Transmission issue never even looked at. Real bad experience. So today I finished paying Steve off for supposedly work done on my truck he says he doesn't charge a diagnostic fee if he does the work he did the work. Supposedly replace oxygen sensor that cost 123.00 but when I dropped truck off there was no check engine light on so dont know how he knew to replace sensor. I see Steve just about everyday because I park my trailer in a storage yard right behind his business and he has trucks and cars that have been parked out in front of his business and street for months never could figure out why, now I know. I'm sorry for putting him out there like that but he's a bad man for business. I went with to his shop because how close he was but what a big mistake that turned out to be. Never again and I hope people who read the reviews think twice because this isn't fake im so upset how he felt charge what he wanted and I had to pay to get my truck back. He'll probably reply saying they have no records of my truck.
