I had a bunch of household and yard junk building up in my driveway for a few months. Atlas scheduled me in for a pick up soon after I called. Two very friendly and polite guys arrived on time (they even called to let me know exactly when they'd arrive). It took about 15 minutes for them to load and sort all of the items and they even scraped up the dirt and debris off of my driveway! The rate was very competitive. Dustin came by quickly to haul away what remained of my 1982 Volvo 245 that I had used as a donor car for my transmission swap on my other 244 sedan. Its such a relief to have it gone. I was pleasantly surprised that I even got any cash from that car as most other cash for car services weren't even interested in the slightest. The car didn't even have a steering rack and it was at the end of a very tight driveway but that wasn't a problem for Dustin!

This place has a great deal on used parts, I found exactly the right car battery for my application. The price was right and I was quickly on my way again. I was in a pinch and it was less than half price of a new battery. It suited my need and saved me some cash I would go there again.

Yes they are helpful yes they are accommodating yes they are people and yes they can be difficult if your putting them in the position to be less than accommodating. I personally found the experience quite opposite of what I expected it was easygoing and less stressful than I believed it would be. The staff were polite efficient informative very accommodating.

The guys were super quick, and super friendly. They cleaned up the whole deck mess, even swept up the cement pad after! 😍 they sorted through all the rotted wood and found the bricks that were tossed in the pile and organized them into little stacks. They were super great guys and they did an amazing job. It took a lot of hassle off our hands! Thank you!!!

Our house was missed this morning, I was home and saw it get skipped. Dispatch was super kind and helpful when I called it in. They sent another truck… I watched the truck come back, slow down and drive away a second time. Very frustrating and confusing since the second time it was clearly intentional.Edit: despite your reply that it was in fact a confusion and the driver would be back it is now 5:30pm and the bins were never emptied. If your company says they are going to do something at least be prepared to follow though.

I'm not sure what was going on but the people that were in the warehouse accepting scrap were in the least helpful mood today. I've always loved schnitzer (most of my experiences with them have been in their surrey location) but today the only positive part was the lovely lady in the office.

Do not use this business as they actually stole my car yesterday! I asked him to come and give me a quote on what he would give me for the car as I was not going to repair it after an accident and it's listed at 9,000 to 11,000 working. I had set up two other companies to come and give me quotes after him but without my consent, or signature he towed my car away (I was not there), before the other companies could arrive to give me a quote. I spoke to him on the phone and I told him I absolutely want my car back you can't have it but texted me later in the day to inform me that he had scrapped it. After I told him he could not have my car and I was upset that he stole it, he then took it and wanted it back, he then toook upon himself to "scrap" it.Needless to say I'll be pursuing every opportunity to be reimbursed.Service: Car towing
