Decent parts yard. Looooong walk up hill to get to the yard. Prices are a little on the higher side for used parts but seen worse. Nothing 2015 or newer (I asked)

Don't expect to get helpful insight from the workers on the phones at highline y'all. Questions to a minimal or risk the misery oozing through the phone at you. Lacking professionalism or an interest to help.

These guys saved my bacon. I had my alternator go out and dead on 84, they picked me up within about an hour in the middle of a heavy downpour, drove me to AutoPros and were quite affordable. They were okay with me coming in later that day to pay. Reasonably priced, and they had a shop kitty that I held while I paid. I'd give 6/5 stars if I could. Took time from work to go since only open when i work and not on weekends. The weather was perfect. Wasted time and gas for 70 mile round trip because they were closed and they are too cheap to have an answering machine. Calls just ring and ring and ring. Someone just too busy in the yard? Or are they closed? Why would they be closed and not have a message? That'd be stupid. I will not waste my time and gas with this place again.

The best place to get parts or work done. Roger is super friendly and very knowledgeable. The machine shop does exceptional work.

Reading through the rest of the reviews it looks like I was very lucky I got Dean. Best prices for the part I was looking for --- incredibly helpful and responsive.

Took my vehicle in for an oil change and inspection. Was told that the brakes and rotors were so rusted that they were flaking apart and needed replaced asap. We said we’d do the work ourselves and bring it back for reinspection. Was told we would have to pay to have it reinspected. My husband went out and bought new brakes and rotors but when he went to replace them, he discovered that the current brakes and rotors were in excellent shape and didn’t need replaced.We took my car to a different inspection garage for an inspection without mentioning the report from Shively. My vehicle passed without any mention of the brakes and rotors. There was nothing wrong with them.Will never give Shively my business ever again. This isn’t the first bad experience we’ve had with them. But it will most definitely be the last.

I have never been in a place as bad as this one in my life. I recognize that it has everything you are going to look for but Today I went looking for a wheel for my car and when I found it everything was fine but it is not safe to be there it is dangerous if you neglect your tools for 3 seconds they are gone and when you go to make the claim to customer service they do nothing there is also a watchman who is just decoration of the place I tried to tell him what happened and he turned his back he ignored me That means they could have killed me too and they wouldn't have done anything $400 worth of tools and he disappeared They didn't even bother to help with the search for the thief as if nothing happened. I do not recommend that place to anyone.If you go it will be at your own risk NOTE: IF YOU WANT BE SAFE If you value your peace and quiet, don't go near that place, a cave with no security or guarantee of well-being. That's my humble opinion. The rest is up to you. For my part, I will never return to that crappy establishment. I curse the hour that occurred to me to go there.

Never had to sell a non functional car before and working with Cash for Cars was a much more pleasant experience than I thought it would be. Working with Ashley was great. Negotiation was forth right. Offer was honest and fair. Instructions for completing the deal were clear and easy to understand.. Received a check at the time of transfer of the car which was the same day for me after completing paper work. Gentleman that took the car away was professional and highly competent. If I ever have to get rid of a nonfunctional car in the future, I will use this company again in a heartbeat.

The staff is friendly, with the exception of Jen, who acts as though it is beneath her to wait on women. She needs a lesson in dealing with CUSTOMERS. She's rude, short, loud, & well, you'll see for yourself. Everyone is very knowledgeable of everything in the store, but if you do manage to stump them, they will immediately jump to find you the correct answers to your problems. Ben, the manager, is always smiling & eager to help. Adriana & TJ are very helpful & a lot of fun, while knowing just what you need. As they are not a garage, they can't tell you what is wrong with your car, but they sure know what you need to fix it. Stop in. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They run specials & if you are a reward member, you can save quite a bit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADVANCE AUTO.As for the Lincoln Way East location in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, I was not even slightly impressed. There were a bunch of Mexican men working there which was not the problem. They didn't understand me when I told them what I needed & they didn't even seem concerned to try to help. I left frustrated because the Shippensburg store had ordered my parts & I just went to pick them up. Next time, I will have them delivered to the Shippensburg store & pick them up there.

To the owner: it would probably get you higher reviews and be more profitable if you simply specified on your website that you only take cash to get in. I drove 45 minutes here only to be told they only do cash, when on their website it clearly says that they accept cash and Visa cards. When I came here, the desk person said that that’s only for checkout and that cash is still required to get in. What a joke. Don’t know how inconvenient it is for them to accept a $2 card charge. it’s 2024…. Also they require a $20 minimum at checkout to buy parts which is pretty stupid in my opinion. You’re better off finding another yard if you’re here for little things. All this woulda been avoided if they took 2 minutes to put on their website that only cash gets you inside.

We were on a road trip and our van broke down on i80 about 15 miles away from this shop. Every other towing company in town turned us away, but not Mark's! They came an picked us up quickly, the driver was very nice, and the price was great! After a few days we called them again to have them fix the original problem that caused our breakdown. The team was super fast, efficient, and wonderful at communicating with us.Would definitely recommend for any issues you may have with a vehicle.
