Airline Salvage was great until new management/owners took over. The guy absolutely ripped me off. I didn't argue with him because I went there to buy used steel and I just figured I'd clear out some scrap lead , copper and aluminum while I made the trip. . They didn't have any used steel and had cleared out the back yard. In any case- The new owner is a typical thief in my opinion. He thinks he's slick. Edit to reply- Last time I was there before this most recent visit, the yard was full of used steel . You had NOTHING to sell. Furthermore, the manager told the guy who weighed my aluminum to pay me the unclean price for a central a/c condenser which weighed over 20#. I had a bunch of cast aluminum too. Plus 3 car batteries. All total- I was paid 21.00 Say what you will. But the guy running the place is a thief IN MY OPINION.

Absolutely the worst scrap yard I’ve ever been to. Most will give you 8 to 10 cents a pound on iron . They are doing 3 cents a pound and are rude. Take your stuff to WB or EMR . They are doing a dollar a pound on clean ac coils as well, everyone else is 1.50 to 1.70 a pound. Terrible business and a worse idea to visit them .

The 1st was the only time since new management our metal was weighed and paid correctly. I suggested my partner & I speak with the own payout, type, price, weight once cashed out, is binding. Best to ask before metal goes to scale. Closing time is decent. But it should be; Been in line by x:xx- 30 minutes sooner not _4:_00_if 3:30 is

I had a couple old window units in my garage, an old starter motor, and some broken up metal chairs, table, copper piping scraps from a plumbing job, and some electrical wire. Loaded up my car on the way to New Orleans and dropped it off mostly just trying to get it out of my garage. I was super surprised how much cash they gave me for it! Paid for my wife and I's meal! Way better than throwing it in the garbage.

RIP OFF!! Went to 2 different scrap yards and airline salvage paid horribly LOW. EMR scrap paid very good..airline paid .66 cent for copper when everyone else is paying .90 cents and more save you're time and a trip from here!!

In my opinion, these guys are thieves. I called to sell a car for scrap. Asked what they'd give me for it. They said "I don't know, haven't seen it." They sent a tow truck to pick it up. Called later that day and was told "I just told you I'd pick it up. It cost me sixty five dollars for the tow truck. I didn't say I'd give you anything for the car." Now I see how they get good reviews on prices, they just take things from people to sell.

The laziest unhelpful place I've been. 3 out of the 4 times I've gone they said that the weren't accepting anymore light steel for the day. This was after waiting sometime already.

I had less than a minute of interaction with them and they were super unhelpful. Rude and not interested in being any kind of decent. Good job guys.
