Super rude and what a scam and rip off!! I asked for my scrap back which were in bags and they said sorry it’s already put away. They make up prices and were at least a 1$ to 1.20$ per pound less than competition for copper. Do not bring your scrap here! Go somewhere else and get paid way more!

They will rip you off. Try to pay you lower prices from cheaper metals. Pay attention. They also have attitudes. They don't like having to weigh your vehicle multiple times. They act like it's some kind of inconvenience. They tried to give me $40 for a little over a ton of industrial steel beam by saying it was wire fencing. Avoid at all cost

I honestly don't even want to give this place one star. They try to rush you through the process so you can't see the number on the scale. And then say the camera pointing at the scale doesn't work? When I asked to see the owner I was told he wasn't there with no further information. Idk how people still go to this scam of a place. Under no circumstance will I ever go back, or advise anyone to go there. Liars and cheats.

Great people best place to dump metal. Just be aware of the metal it is easy to trip if not paying attention. Dave is also a great guy he's the one who you buy stuff from. Dave sometimes gives you a discount price. I would not go anywhere else to dump metal.

I have been here many times and they all went well until 1-06-17. I unloaded 740 lbs of steel then went into the office and unloaded a bunch of copper, aluminum , cans, batteries, and stainless then I got paid out. I watched the girl tear off a receipt and then print my long one. I pulled out and looked at my payout and saw that the first 740 lbs of steel was not on the receipt. So I went back in and told her and with an attitude asked me my plate number. I gave it to her and then she printed a receipt with 740 lbs of sheet steel. No sorry, no oops, no reason, no thanks just a bad attitude. So I called and ask to speak to the owner and left my number but no call back so I could not tell this to the owner and really don't like telling it here. I do like the place. It is clean and the guys inside do help unload. I will go back but just look at your receipt.

These guys are the best guys in the industry! I’ve gone out of my way to bring my stuff to them (over an hour away sometimes). The guys will tell you exactly what you have and give you top dollar. Dave is great! He always has a smile and knows who everyone is! José the forklift operator is also one of the nicest people here! He will gladly help you unload or load your truck with the forklift if needed. The lady inside that pays you out always has a smile as well, she is extremely nice and knows who you are! It’s one big family at All American Recycling! Never bring your scrap metal anywhere else. P.s. Ask for a free bumper sticker.

Quoted one price on the phone, when I got there and they unloaded it, then they handed me 25% of the quoted price! When I said "no, give it back" they quickly increased the offer to 50% of their originally quoted price! Was an employee skimming off of the incoming loads while the boss was out or is this business as usual? Who knows, either way, im not inclined to go there again. BTW, they used to be the only one I went to for years, and sometimes for HUGE loads!

Not worth bringing your metal here. They don't give much & it's not worth getting a flat tire or any other damage to your car when they are picking up metal with their tractor & lifting it over your car. And don't even get me started on their sexist billboard along I-80.

I went in there and skaled in at 7600 pounds came back to the scale scaled 7560 knowing that I had dropped off more then 40 pounds so he adds 20 pounds to my list called garbage and I get $4.80 totally screws me over I would not suggest going to this place unless you have little tiny pieces that you need to get rid of because they screw you out of weight. That's right try to just push me aside now you got yourself a bad review lol I wish I could rate no stars that's how good you are

I am no expert on the world of scrap metal but I found my experience there was pretty pretty pretty good. I had come into possession of some aluminum. Drove it there. They gave me money.

Make sure you check your receipt before you leave. I was just there 3/3 and the young brunette lacking friendly people skills cheated me out of .75 cents. Yes, I'm talking about you.

CHEATS THE WEEEEIGHT!!!! Accomplice/older man on radio @entry. Elder asks "first time". scale reading. never directed procedure (why ask if first time then). Dumped shload of metal/10 ft trailer. Go and re-way, the elder w/radio sees scale no reads(blank). I head towards elder(radio) to inform on blank re-weight/ OFF Display on Scale, he runs away. The owner (short baldish prck) looks like a damn thief. I will be taking cameras there next time, and have a lawful understanding and proper police report procedures

Don't go was told the price is scrap was one price when I got the receipt it was a different price people work hard to load and unload that metal the best they can do is to be fair with the customers I don't do scrap on a regular basis but I feel sorry for the people that have to deal with this company I would not recommend going there all they want to do is rip you off and that's not a way to do business

Of the three scrap places I've been to in Joliet, this is the best, hand's down. Their prices are typically better, and their service is the best of all of them.

Easy in and out. Not really a place to bring smaller amounts of scrap. Great for heavy tonnage. They pay in cool rare currency sometimes.

I've been bringing my aluminum scraps here for years and have always gotten between .38 to .48 per pound. Today, I received a whopping .10 per pound. I questioned it 2 times and was told it is what it is. Never again.
