They are polite and very skilled. I watched then use the maganet and crane. Neither one touched our trailer. The crane operator pinched the one line in a motor like fingers and picked it off. They were awesome to watch. What better way to make money cleaning up our property.

I drive all the way from Warren, PA to scrap here. Their prices are good and they are very honest. At a lot of "other" scrap yards you may find yourself wandering around wondering where to go and what to do. But at Weitsman of Jamestown the workers are VERY helpful. If you have that "I don't know what I'm doing" look on your face, they kindly point you in the right direction. They must treat their workers pretty good because they are always friendly, smiling, and helpful.I go here about 3-4 times a year with about 1-2 tons of scrap metal each load. On one particular occasion, I had my truck and trailer loaded full of scrap steel. First I unloaded my covered trailer and then they asked me to unhitch the trailer so they could use the magnet and "lift" the scrap from my truck. So I pulled off to the side out of the way and unhitched the trailer. As I was backing the truck back up into yard to be unloaded several trucks snuck in front of me. Then an entire line formed behind them and I was stuck off to the side looking like a stupid tool bag. I had no choice but to wait until the entire line was gone before I could get back in. I was considering pulling out of the yard and then getting into the end of line. BUT!!!! then the crane operator got out of his rig, pointed to the car that stole my place and motioned them to go back! He then waived for the entire line to back up. Then he pointed at me and motioned me to back up to be unloaded.I was completely blown away that he did this. This is the kind of service you can expect at Weitsman! They have a customer for life in me! I tell EVERYONE to go here. I'd rather drive 30 miles out of my way than to go to the other crooks here in Warren (who also happen to be extremely rude and NOT helpful).Thanks Weitsman!
