    This place is a complete disaster and the owner is just plain nuts. Not sure how they are still in business. The quoted fees are over double other quotes I have found from friendly smart polite business people. Everything this owner is NOT

    Would be nice if the Captain kept his doors open as posted. Arrived at 3.45 on Sunday, google, your sign, your answering machine all said you are open til 5. Other people were also there with loaded vehicles.

    Our Youth Mobile, the BigGuy, was in desperate need of new tires. Stopped by at Captn Crunch and James and another of their guys are sorting to the tires in the yard and sure enough come up with a full set of 6 tires, brand new installed on rims ready to go. And don't ask about the price, I was just amazed.Awesome service, even better prices.

    Clean and organized waste transfer station. Does metal recycling as well. Most importantly though captain crunch maintains a high level of environmental responsibility. Meaning all drainage and any environmental contaminants are never near the surrounding eco system. Wish most places were ran this well. Keep up the good work

    If I could give "zero" stars I would. Sept 28 my partner drove out to this fine facility to get rid of some steel. Traffic was horrendous from Coquitlam along Hwy 1 (not their fault). As my partner realized he was possibly going to be late, he called them and said, he was on the way, only 10 minutes away.. The response was "We close at 5". So he arrives there at 5:03 pm only to be turned away. What kind of business turns people away like that? How rude!! I could see if it was 5-10 minutes late and didnt phone, but thats ok. Wont bother going out there again. Plenty of metal recyclers in Surrey. Dont waste your time going here!!

    I love this dump, it’s so convenient I drive from Chilliwack to use it. Chilliwack dump doesn’t allow you to use a dumping trailer, and you have to separate everything. With places like captain crunch open it’s no wonder the city dump went under.... good riddance!

    I’ve always had a great experience here. Easy to deal with. Can get busy on a Saturday or late afternoon, then your waiting 5-10 minutes to unload but what place isn’t busy on a Saturday.
