Shariff was good, he gave.me a fair price. Very disappointed witj coparts towing service. I scheduled the appointment, i drove 1 1/2 hours to get to the car with the title. Im waiting, i decided to call coparts to see if they had any ETA. My appointment was cancelled i wasted a lot of time. I set thw appointment back up and my daughter was going to be there. I gave coparts her number. The driver only had my number i had to forward the drivers phone number to her. I was told we would have 1/2 to 1 hour heads up hes on his way. He called in the parking lot. Also i called the pekin coparts office from the cancelled visit i asked to speak to the manager. He was in a meeting, no voicemail left my number and a message with the receptionist he never called me back.Service: Vehicle recycling

Called for a quote, told they could only offer to manage a donation in exchange for a $500 tax deduction (which doesn't actually help anyone who would have a junk car to donate) and a voucher for restaurant.com. This was after being transferred to "a Dodge appraiser", punching in my zip code (nice that they use a local number to go to a call center God only knows where), and then waiting on hold.They weren't rude necessarily. Having worked in a call center I know the stress of the job, so I don't have an issue with the call center guys' decorum. But it's a bait and switch with the company name.I could get a GENUINE cash offer from 5 different local junkyards/parts yards, all willing to tow it away and do the title work. The new and rebuilt parts alone are going to net the parts place that took it no less than $2k in return, I should know because I've sourced the parts myself and know what they'll charge.If you need to sell a car that runs but has problems and 1) you've got the title and 2) are looking to get cash in your hand, call Neil's or Copart or even talk to your mechanic because some of them have licensing to do the job as well. Stay local, talk to people in our community and you'll get a reasonable offer (if it's not a genuine useless heap of unsellable parts), especially if you need to get it towed away and don't want to pay the title transfer fee.
