I arrived for a load aluminum in my dry van. Scaled in, got to the dock and waited to get loaded. Scaled again, drove back around and got my paperwork and left. Longest part was the paperwork because my company had set me up on a broker load. Staff was super friendly. Was cool to watch them move the scrap around.

For the most part cfc is a great place to get rid of your scrap metal , or to purchase parts for a vehicle. You can also purchase metal for your welding needs. Staff is friendly and polite. The major downside is you call the pick and pull , you get the salvage yard. They tell you there is no direct line to them and you either have to go see them or look on line. Either way it will not tell you what parts are available. You look a vehicle up to see if they have the vehicle. Then pay a fee to see if that vehicle or vehicles have the part your looking for. I called to see if they had a couple of tires ,now I know it's a salvage yard but all I needed was a tire to put on a trailer , I know they have tires in the lobby area. You would think that a business is there to make money. How can you do good business without a phone. Sounds to me like ,we as customers really don't matter. I did business with them before but if you can't put me through to the parts area and tell me if you have a tire, when all they had to do is look across the counter. Guess I'll just have to take my business elsewhere.

I'm planning on coming here, but I just want to know if it's possible to buy a full scrap vehicle?? I'm waiting to build a project car, but I can't seem to find any good ones lol

Pretty good experience. Make REALLY SURE you check prices thoroughly before you get to the register. Good selection of what I was looking for.

In photos I'll share a photo of my sweet sugar that was from the Winchester suicide prevention walk.I went to the cfc auto salvage center with my service dog, sugar. There were two older ladies working and would not let sugar in. She had her vest on. I let them know she was a service dog and asked if they allowed that. They said yes but only if they could know my diagnosis. There were multiple customers around so this made me very uncomfortable. I told them it anyways. I'm a schizophrenic and recently got sugar to help with delusions in public. They still did not allow her. They said it had to be something like being blind or a real disability. It would be different if they were nice but they were aggressive from the start. You would think cfc would have more kind employees. This was on sep 15 at 4pm. And also a customer that saw came side and told me he had seen just regular dogs back there occasionally. I would suggest showing compassion to your customers

Needed a rear end. Said they didn't have fork lift to reposition the truck and I was standing there watching two of them driving around not 30 feet from where I was needing it repositioned. Can't pull your part if its sitting on the stands. They said come back on Monday Can't if I work Monday through Friday. Not very helpful at all.

Efficient and smooth process of getting things recycled. Easy to find scales and helpful kind staff make it a quick stop for recycling. I would recommend CFC to anyone with cans, aluminum or steel to recycle, or anyone looking to repurpose used steel or looking for reasonably priced used auto parts.

Some of the best shop personnel I've ever worked with....hands down. 11/20. Some real Tools runnin the place. Let me go for not flatbedding because of my pay rate then give everyone a raise...Tools
