A lot has changed over the years here. Changed for the good, I'm thankful they have a dumping pad. Lawd the tires that had been spent here many moons ago. Keep up the great work with great customer service

CMC Recycling is open Monday through Friday - I try to always get here before 4:00pm! Ms. Kendra at Cashier window is always pleasant, prompt and wil process your check quickly! There maybe other Recycling centers but I wouldn't know it as this is where I come!

Operator was helpful with telling me how to separate my metals for the scales. I was in and out with my check in under 15 minutes. By far the best place in Augusta to take your scrap

The ease of the drive on scale and convenience of the shred drop off is the only reason I go here. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 1 star. I sell my nonferrous elsewhere because the guys there have very poor customer service skills and act like it is a burden for them because you brought some scrap to sell. They will always look for the smallest reason to downgrade something even though there is a certain percentage of tolerance allowed. If you are selling shred it is fine. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Hassle free and quick when stopping by during non busy hours. Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Downside, I wish they would take more care into clearing the spot intended for the random metals. Seller's could also put more effort into seeing they toss their metal far enough away. Always get anxiety over my tires and pretty sure that is why I have a flat tire now. I will be shamelessly taking longer to throw my metal out for now on because I will be sweeping before I back in

highly upset with this company. the company I work with has been recycling copper from doing roofing jobs for the last year. today after dropping a 980lb load they wanted to pay copper refinery pricing instead of copper no 2. Three pieces of copper weighing less than 20lbs total had very little silicon on them. yard guys wanted to argue and state they were covered in tar. We will take our business elsewhere.

Definitely the best place to take your scrap in Augusta. The selling process is easy and their pricing is competitive. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful if you don’t know what to do or what goes where. The issue is getting there. The hours of operation don’t allow us that have normal jobs to make it to the scrap yard before closing. If they were available an hour later or on Saturdays I’d give them 5 stars!

The drive through area is rough and needs to be graded over, but otherwise, it was a good place. My daughter had been collecting cans for awhile, and we took her there for the first time to sell them. We got more for the cans than the website listed, so we were happy! We'll definitely be back.

Look it is an okay place for the most part. Their prices are competitive. They used to pay in cash, but now it seems they are issuing checks. I mean you have to show ID as well as get photographed. Now you must either deposit their check or find someone to cash it. Of course they will charge you a fee, further lowering the net price of the metal. In the future I am going to look for another place to sell my cans unless they return to paying with cash.

On today I had an experience with the employee and supervisor over precious metals Department. After I was instructed to get out of the precious metal line because I was the last person and to get in the line with the number 1 and number 2 Steel after I completed delivery of my number one in my number to seal is equalizer instructed me that the precious metal Department was closed after I explained to him that his employee directed me to go he still refused to accept my precious metal. The young supervisor of Hill the employee in his wrongdoing I refuse to correct the problem by the time I reached the top supervisor they both had left or fake that they left if this is the way I make my living and it's honest that should mean something to the free public. After talking to the Head supervisor he refused to accept my precious metals and once again the head supervisor should have made back decision to correct that problem right then and right there it's Friday and no one gives a damn about the the last customer coming through the gate. And no I would not recommend them right now to no one to take their recycling to. Without the customers employees have no job until they realize that we're going to continue supervisors as well if you only knew how many people they affect when they do things like that.

When entering location ho inbetween the yellow bricks and get on the scale.. make sure u r perfectly even as u enter scale…Dont listen to anybody here guiding u onto the weigh scale .. u will tear ur front end up.. i hope i can get the marks off my front end and i have to buy a whole new hub cap set up on my peterbilt..def not a good place to come if u have the long tips on ur rims.. when looking on passenger side of the scale u will see other tips thats been snatched off..im surprised theres not one truck review except mine.. other than that took about 15 mins to load

Truck went across their scales dumped and proceeded out to the pay window. Was then and only then was he told that they were deducting #8800 because of water. #1. The process of arbitrary weight deduction is illegal per the Ga Agg. Commission weights and measures division. Why have scales if you don’t use them. Post a lower price and stick with it #2. The driver had the load put back on the truck. When he went back across the scales the difference was only #1800. This place is very crooked. Maybe nice but crooked. Went across the street. No weight deductions. 500% more money.

My fiancee has a hvac company. We were using SA across the street. My guy would let me take the scrap and keep the cash. Everytime I went to SA he would say something was wrong with the price they paid. I started going to CMC and the weight is always more than he thinks it will be.

As much money as this place makes they could pave the place. If only where customers drive in and back up. The holes were terrible on my car. Pay out was alot less then we expected. Will not go back
