I scrapped a 2012 Chevy cruze with a blown headgasket but fresh turbo and cooling system he said he was gonna give me 300. I only received 200 because he charged me for a tow and told me that in person after we agreed on 300. It also took him over 2 weeks to pick up the car. I would recommend just ether selling or parting your car through Facebook marketplace way more profit and the same amount of bs etherway. I hope yall have a nice day peace

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Leblanc's auto recycling should be recycled themselves, get a new owner while they're at it. I suffered a car accident hitting a deer last Saturday, I had the misfortune continuing as I ended up having to deal with these fine "professional" folks. They added undue stress to mine and my fiancée's difficult situation. Initially we wanted to sell the car to Leblanc's due to the damage amount, and having no way to pay without proper full insurance. We then decided to get parts and fix it ourselves, we informed Tom Purdy (owner) of this promptly and efficiently every step of the way. Mr. Purdy decided to not communicate well back to us, causing us to have to call many times for simple things. The situation was unprofessional as I've ever seen, Tom told my Fiancée one thing about price, and then another, and then another. She was so confused that I had to call myself to assess the situation at hand. He told us $200 for towing services to pick it up, but then told me $600 and refused to release the vehicle to Citgo, so they could bring it to our home with our insurance. I explained this to Tom and was screamed at immediately. I was polite and remained so, until he made comments regarding the intelligence of my Fiancée and her lack of understanding. He was hostile, aggressive, pushy and downright unpleasant. He talked too fast to understand, I believe this to be intentional to confuse honest customers that need legitimate help. His conduct was short in every aspect of what a business owner should strive to be. I paid the $600 that we were never prepared to pay and now have been left short because of a man that simply doesn't care. Never again. Avoid this business and man, I surely will! In conclusion, find a reputable business for parts or salvaging, because you won't find it here at Leblanc's auto recycling in Bennington.

Rescued my brother after a wheel came off near the Welcome Center and AAA rerouted the scheduled tow guys 3 times. Found him some Camry parts on hand, and were excellent about tracking down whatever else was needed for a more than fair price. Had to double check they'd actually charged us for the tow! On pickup the owner dashed out (in the rain) to check my brother's lugnuts one last time before he hit the road. Great service, great price, so lucky we found this place!
