First time going here. Everyone was extremely nice. Scrap is just side money for hot rod projects I don't get all to serious about it. But I will be going back here as they seem very fair. Any scrap tips deeply appreciated.

I towed a 2001 Caravan that had aluminum rims and a converter the Lady over the phone said roughly $250 if I drop it off. Hung up the phone and towed it to U-Pull R Parts and they gave me $375.00Metro Metals is Cheap Garbage Payouts. Go somewhere where you can make Better Money off your tow in vehicles.All recyclers in Minneapolis and Saint Paul are too cheap.

Clean, friendly employees, it was nice to see parking spaces provided for people to sort their scrap. I definitely appreciate seeing a female working there!!!

I would say it’s just like any scrap yard if they think you don’t know your steel they will take advantage of you! I had this experience at metro metals but at the same time I’ve had it at all the scrap yards!

Zero stars!! They scheduled a pick for a car of mines and never came to get it. I called them and ask what the reason behind it was and they said that the driver called multiple times and I didn’t pick up which is not true because i was waiting for the call all day. And yes they had my number correct. Then the lady I was talking to gave me an attitude and cussed me out. I called a couple times to get things sorted out. But everyone I talk to seems like they are in a rush or dont want my business. Very unprofessional. Worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. Never again will i call this place for business. And neither should anyone else!

Metro has wonderful staff. They have been very helpful. They keep a clean yard which is key to not having popped tires after your visit.

Good place to take your scrap metal. Workers are friendly. One thing that bugs me is they could be a little quicker at the scale for the iron pile. Other then that not much to complain about.
