If I could give these guys a 10 star I would. I purchased a engine and it was delivered to the mechanic shop the next day. The engine just so happen to be bad (thank goodness for the warranty), the mechanic shop I was dealing with was a nightmare. They were charging me double labor, storage fees you name it. I called and spoke with RJ first he was very pleasant. I then talk to Vince and explain to him the situation. When I say the best customer service….. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Long story short Vince worked his magic got another engine and I picked up my car with no problems. I could not praise this man anymore. I am grateful for the work Vince and his team pulled off to get my car up and running. In this day and age we live in we need more people like them. Many blessings to Recycle Auto Parts and G automotive.

Bad engine from "go". Replacement took 3 days to arrive even though they are down the road. Core and bad engine they charge for sits here for nearly two weeks. Multiple calls to pick-up get ignored. Say they will pick up tomorrow... and a week later I'm asking others to call because my 7 calls have gone nowhere. First and last time using Lombard Auto Wreckers.

This place pulled the spare tire that I needed and had it waiting for me when I arrived I called other places and they were very unhelpful this was the best place, I went 12 miles out my way to become their customer and they went out of their way to accommodate me. I was very pleased with my products and extremely impressed with their service.

I called and spoke with one rep who was very kind over the phone. Was then put on hold to speak with the mechanic who was quite rude. He hung the phone up on me without even allowing me to respond. That was poor on his part. I understand that he did not want to work on the car but he just slammed the phone in my face. How do you expect to get and retain business when you are being rude and inconsiderate with your customers?

Called in the morning and spoke to RJ about the two parts I needed. He had one part in stock and not the second. I went to pick up the first part, and found HE (on his own initiative) had come up with a suitable replacement for the second part I needed while I was in transit. He assured me that if the part didn't work, I could return it without an issue. Turns out it works like a charm, so I don't need to worry about that, and he ended up saving me a trip. The prices he gave me were also quite good. I think I just found my new place for parts. Thanks RJ!

I stopped in because I realized the negative reviews were directed towards the previous owners and I wanted to give this place a shot. I was in need of a fuel tank for my recently purchased crown victoria and they had three tanks in stock. Im all about DIY and getting used parts that still have life to them but I wasnt having any luck locating a fuel tank in my area. I found these guys online and decided to give them a try. I received great service and was treated with nothing but respect when I walked in. They made sure to give me the best used part so that I wouldn't have to worry about any issues. I was reassured that I could bring back the tank if I had any issues whatsoever. They also showed me there computer system that links to other used auto part places in case I needed a part I couldn't find locally. I would highly recommend people to steer away from old reviews and give these guys a try. I was very glad I found these guys so hopefully my review helps . I will definitely use them again for any other parts I may need down the road.

After reading all your comments about Lombard A-W customer's service, I called today with specific info regarding the part I need, ..and got the same As*****le that, apparently, is the only person getting calls. I'll call L.A.W again ONLY if there is the last place on earth where I can find the part/s I need. People that haven't learn the most basic principle of treating a potential customer should not remain in business for much longer. My question is, ..no manager and/or owner ever takes the time to read customer's feedback? If they don't care, ..what is the point of having this web site?

They got a lot of car parts we are Auto care service also known as Charlies auto service on St charles rd in villa park Lombard we order parts from there all the time they have engines transmissions and many many car parts very nice guys all plus excellent customer service there new name is recycled all parts the new management is awesome unlike the old one they used to be called Lombard auto wreckers . Great recycled auto parts 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Wow, I just called to ask if they had wheels that would fit my car and the dude was totally rude and told me I needed to know what I was looking for. He continued to tell me the phones are lighting up so if I knew then let him know. Excuse me, you're the expert, I'm suppose to do your job? I'm sorry I was inconveniencing you by calling. Having a bad attitude and rushing a potential customer isn't very professional.

I totally agree w/ Ayala & Smith. The guy who picks up the phone is SUPER lazy, you can hear it in his voice. I asked to see if he could e-mail some picture of a part they have and he told me that he doesn't know how to send picture via e-mail and that he was the only one working there when I asked if someone else there could. Don't know how a company would only have one person working there.
