I had a fantastic experience at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Parker thanks to Joe, the manager, and Kathy. Joe went above and beyond to help me out—he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and diligent in making sure I had exactly what I needed while working on my vehicle. His level of customer service truly stood out. When I had to come back for additional help, Kathy was just as amazing. She was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Both Joe and Kathy made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. As an owner in the industry myself, I was genuinely impressed. These two are absolute rock stars and a real asset to the store. They absolutely deserve recognition—and a raise. I would hire them in a minute.

Every-time I went (past tense), there would be 2 guys talking to each other, caring less about the outside world. I guess I'm so used to crappy customer service, that I don't even expect them to help me anymore, but an acknowledgement, or simple hello would go a long way. I get it, it's not your dream job, welcome to the world, so until you find it, and since you're already there, why not just go along with it, and do your job, show some pride.

It’s nice to have a familiar brand name parts store in a small town in the desert. I usually have amazing experiences at O’Reillys. This shopping experience would be different from my usual shopping experiences at O’Reillys. The young man who helped me seemed to want to walk around everywhere with me in the store, and I’m not sure that they provide that level of service to everyone who enters. He didn’t know what a one-man brake bleeder was, when I asked for it. He guided me to a siphon, which would help with removing brake fluid from the master cylinder, but it wasn’t what I needed for bleeding the brakes at the wheels. When I started to describe what I needed, he guided me to opaque black tubing sold in packages. I also asked for what I call “worm clamps “. He didn’t know what I was talking about and he looked at me like I had three heads. I said they’re the clamps that go on hoses that you use a screwdriver to tighten or loosen… I feel like the days when you used to be able to go into an auto parts store, and the people working there were quite often very knowledgeable, and were kind of gear heads in a sense, those days seem to be gone. I bought a few things to see if I could use an empty soda bottle to bleed my brakes. As I was checking out, this young guy that was walking around the store with me was laughing audibly, I don’t know what he was laughing about. But it was weird. I ended up driving out of town and happened to look and see there was an AutoZone on the way out of town. I stopped in the Autozone, and the guy who helped me was so knowledgeable. As soon as I walked in and said, “Do you have a one-man brake bleeder?” He answered, “Yes.“ What a relief! And when I asked for the clamps, he took me right to them. I’ll be shopping at Autozone in Parker from now on. ??
