Called the number listed on the website... A man answered strictly with “Hello?”, not “Hello, this is McMahon Recycling.” or anything indicating that we had just called a business. I explained that we were looking to get rid of an older vehicle. He then asked “Who are you trying to call?”, I told him that I was trying to contact McMahon Recycling. He said “That’s not what this is.” and hung up. Now, I called the number NOT by transcribing it to another phone, but by selecting the number they have listed on their website. So, there’s literally no way I miss-dialed. I called the number back to at least tell this guy that his number was listed as the number for McMahon Recycling, but it went to a voicemail that said that McMahon Recycling is closed on Saturday, November 25th. I totally understand that they may be closed today, but you’d think , after answering the phone, that he would relate that they are closed and I would have been instructed to call back on Monday during their office hours... Hands down, weirdest phone call ever.

If I could offer zero stars, I would. We were contracted for weekly residential service for which we pay ahead of time. There have been several times when pick ups did not take place as scheduled. Last week and this week, our scheduled pick up did not take place. I called the office today and spoke with the manager, Jamie. She had no reason why our pick up did not take place. She surmised that the driver “may have been on vacation.” She said they would send a driver to pick up today, but we now have a backup of garbage due to the holiday and the missed pickup. When I asked if we could receive a credit for the service that was paid for and not received last week I was told that they would not offer a refund and that it was our fault for not calling them to tell them that the scheduled and paid for service had not been completed. I have canceled our contact with this company as they are unreliable and unprofessional.

This place is very shady. They won’t tell you prices over the phone because they want to see if you are experienced or not if not they will give you lowest prices ever. I won’t trust them. Never hear business not giving out prices

Sublot. Slooooooow… zzz…I arrived at 8am sharp for my 8am appt and waited in a long line, also had a 9:30. Now it’s 12pm and there is still another truck in front of me in the line. I hope the main lot will give me the car I scheduled for 11:30. Let’s see. But no matter what 1star, way too slow here at the sublot. Look at this pic. There is room for 2 more trucks but we have to wait for the forklift drivers to tell us to move up… for sure only adding to the slowness of the line.

I stood in line for two and a half hours just to pick up a title! This is wild! Only two workers and there are 5 empty seats where workers should be! A stupid waste of time! Such companies should be forced to pay for the time they spend due to a lack of workers!!!

I did not know that GM radio LOCKED. I purchased this radio, Mark said that radios never go bad, I installed it in my 2013 Tahoe, it came up locked! When I called, Mark said all electronics are sold as is, no refunds. The dealer wants $75.00 to decode it, I only paid $75.00 for the radio. Mark said "to bad so sad"when I tried to discuss this with him. I do not recommend them to anyone. I asked for a partial return, he said no!!!! If they need to steal from the customer, BEWARE!!

It was such a pleasure working with Monty and Natalie. They purchased and removed nine old trailers from our property. There were many obstacles in their way but they had all the right equipment! Natalie works harder than most men and made sure no mess was left behind. They also worked within our time frame which was greatly appreciated. I would defiantly recommend them!

I drove 3 hours to come get an engine from them. Very nice, friendly folks. Got home and the engine ended up being bad. I called them up and explained my situation. The gentlemen assured me a refund and told me not to worry about driving all the way to return it since I drove so far. I like and very much respect a business that makes the situation right. If i need parts in the future I will definitely consider using them again. Thanks guys!

Worse place ever stay away from here. They assured me for two weeks they would find a used part for me every day for two weeks it was tomorrow or the part pulled was no good. I was supposed to get charged a deposit And was charged full price on a part they were not even able to get! This was about a month ago and they still have not refunded my money. I have called multiple times it does not take that long to return the money of something that was never received!!!! I don’t think this place has bad reviews for nothing. The owner or management should step up!!!!!!!!!! Then the guy I talked to had the nerve to say he was looking for the part elsewhere and had already paid another junk yard for the part so they can get it for me I guess like a 3rd party and I would receive my money when the other junk yard refunded them back. I was working directly with toncar on getting the part that has nothing to do with my refund. This place is a scam!!

I’ve been buying cars from copart for many years now. Recently they’ve been nothing but liars and thieves. Ive had so many issues with the st. Louis location and now this one. I bought two cars run and drive a 2013 bmw 535 and it got to my shop and the motor is locked up it never started. I also just bought a 2012 rav4 run and drive and that one Showed it with a bad transmission it don’t move at all, both of these from this location, and they won’t do anything about it, copart is getting pathetic

This is the worst salvage yard if ever had to do business with. I deal with yards all over the country and this one takes the cake by far. Horrible customer service, horrible staff, crap quality in reman parts. Charged me $2800 for a "reman" engine, got the engine delivered to me two weeks after they said it would be here and the "fresh" engine was full of rust in the intake ports. Had my shop correct that issue and still had to swap over the lower section of the engine block because they sent us the wrong one. After all of that, they agreed to reimburse labor to make the engine fit and now here we are 3 months later and get nothing but the run around. Go buy your parts from literally anywhere else. This place needs shut down.

The name of the old guy is Ole, not Ollie. What’s here is a giant amount of household, commercial, industrial and architectural salvage. At his outdoor site you can pick through these piles at your own pace. Everything is outdoors and very weathered. A trip to Ole’s Might take an hour or two.

I've been doing business with Fred for years and has always made me a good deal and he has the cars that I need a lot of the time that they don't have many at the other yards so I will always go too junk brother's first before all the other yards in our area....

They do not sell auto parts but answered the phone and my question quickly.

Just got off the phone with them. Guy picks up and says hello. I say to hold on a sec so I can adjust my phone on my ear and he starts yelling "HELLO CAN I HELP YOU" before I even get my phone over to the other ear! Then I ask him if he can hear me and he yells it again, cutting me off. Now I don't know if he's yelling cause he can't hear me or of he's frustrated so I repeat myself one more time to make sure he can hear me. "YES I CAN HEAR YOU WHAT DO YOU WANT" I want to do business with someone else now. Only reason I asked if he could hear me was so that he could have an easier time helping me... I was trying to nice and was met with aggression. Absolutely never going to this junkyard.
