It would be prudent for you to consider closing your doors and selling the property. Your service and communication are severely lacking. Had I taken the time to read the reviews beforehand, I would have spared myself the trouble of writing this critique.

I visited Number 1 Auto Salvage to obtain an intake sprocket for a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. An employee directed me to row 3, where I located a Kia Optima with the compatible engine. I commenced the removal of the necessary part. Two employees subsequently approached my wife and me, informing us of their closing time. They requested a deposit to complete the removal process and sell me the part the following morning. We agreed to return the next day. One employee mentioned that the owner might express concern regarding the partially removed part. My wife and I chose to wait, hoping to discuss a resolution with the owner. Upon the owner's arrival, he expressed dissatisfaction, stating the engine's value at $2,000 and accusing us of causing damage. I explained that the location of the part is readily identifiable to anyone with mechanical expertise. The owner insisted on payment for the entire engine. My wife and I were disheartened to overhear the employees falsely inform the owner that we had entered the premises under the pretense of using the restroom. A respectful dialogue with the owner would have likely facilitated a mutually agreeable solution. Instead, he chose to engage in a contentious argument and accuse us of wrongdoing, despite the potential negligence of his own employee. The owner ultimately demanded our departure, which we obliged. The level of disrespect exhibited by the owner was deemed unacceptable.

Great service! We broke down in our F250 pulling a 37' travel trailer. Called AAA and they quickly got Payne's involved. This was on Memorial Day late afternoon and Crystal called me within 5 minutes. She wasn't sure AAA was going to cover the travel trailer because they hadn't told her that I had one. She called them and got it straightened out. Harley called to give us an ETA as he was on his way. Within an hour of my initial phone call we had an F650 roll back there ready to get us hooked up and towed home ( about 90 miles). Harley loaded the F250 on the roll back and hooked the travel trailer to a ball on the wheel lift. We were quickly on our way. He drove safely and was well aware that he had our pride and joy hooked up back there. The bottom line is that they got to us quickly, were very courteous, and got us home safe and sound. I would recommend them to anyone.

The biggest scam in the history of junkyards or part places or anything. The owner is a thief as well as the employees. We bought a bad transmission from them and we specified to them the car and they got us the wrong transmission. Then they blame us saying we burnt the transmission by installing it incorrectly when they got us the wrong transmission and their representative lies saying we burnt it when we never did that. Those transmissions don’t burn like that. In person before I paid them I told them if it’s bad will you change it they said yes. They also said we know it’s wrong but you can try it if it’s not good we can change it for you. We drive an hour and they know who we are and we showed them the receipt picture they said they need the paper receipt. Their mechanic came to us and said he will switch it up then I guess the owner changed his mind about it. These thieves will do anything or come up with any excuse to keep their stolen money.

Had been looking for running boards for my 2005 Expedition for awhile. Every time I found some they wanted quite a bit for them used. Found some used ones here very resonable and they even put them on for much less than the cost of ones I had seen on other sites. Which I would have also had to pay and find someone to put them on too. Very happy 😃

Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. They had the part I needed at a price that was more then fare. I liked their customer service, they talk to you, not at you. All around good experience.

These guys are top notch whether they are towing a semi to the shop or working a wreck. I have experience on both sides and would never recommend anyone else!
