Had to call a tow for niece's car. The dispatch girl quick and polite. She knew where her team was at. The truck took longer to show up than was expected. The driver was kind and curtous got them to where they needed.

Called AAA at 5:46pm for a tow and they called Paynes and said the would be there by 7:19pm called back at 8:00pm to AAA saying there is no one is answering now. By 9:30pm I called to cancel because u can't sit that long in a car waiting with two children 4 and 6 not right at all. Paynes wrecker is only 26 minutes away. If u can't do your job in a timely manner then get off of AAA's list.

I don't recommend them because their tow truck drivers back into people and then lie about it Johnny that s*** and send it if they hit you I would recommend getting a written statement

Great service! We broke down in our F250 pulling a 37' travel trailer. Called AAA and they quickly got Payne's involved. This was on Memorial Day late afternoon and Crystal called me within 5 minutes. She wasn't sure AAA was going to cover the travel trailer because they hadn't told her that I had one. She called them and got it straightened out. Harley called to give us an ETA as he was on his way. Within an hour of my initial phone call we had an F650 roll back there ready to get us hooked up and towed home ( about 90 miles). Harley loaded the F250 on the roll back and hooked the travel trailer to a ball on the wheel lift. We were quickly on our way. He drove safely and was well aware that he had our pride and joy hooked up back there.The bottom line is that they got to us quickly, were very courteous, and got us home safe and sound. I would recommend them to anyone.

The tow truck driver was friendly, helpful, professional and on time. I kept their number so that I can refer others to them or if I ever need another tow! Great people

Got locked outside my vehicle at 10:50p. It's 36 degrees outside. My Verizon Roadside Assistance dispatched the call to Payne's. After 15 minutes, my coworker called AAA hoping for a faster ETA since mine was 12:28. She got Payne's as well, but with 20 minute ETA. I called the tow company hoping for a faster time and was told they would be here soon. My coworker called and was told less than 60 minutes. After 75 minutes, she called back and was told the driver had finished his first call, and had gone home. So, he called stating it would be another 20 minutes. All and all, we're 2 females in a mall parking lot at 11:36pm in 36 degree weather waiting on a guy who went home to his warm bed because the dispatcher, Mary, cancelled my service cm. When the driver arrived, he couldn't touch my vehicle because she hadn't sent him the right information. When I called, she said she sent it to another driver. Who didn't respond. Mary exuded incompetence and a lack of integrity. I hope she does not reflect the level of integrity, consideration, and professionalism that Payne's embodies. That being said, I appreciate Damien's service and level of professionalism.

I contacted Payne's at 7:51 am, was informed by the dispatcher the ETA was about 90 minutes. I asked for someone to please contact me prior to arrival so that I could be in route, which I actually arrived around 830am due to working with someone else's schedule. I contacted Payne's again at 9:30am and was informed trying to find a driver, ETA is about 45minutes. I was very upset because I had been waiting and the ETA window was over. I would have been okay with just a simple call that my tow is running late, it will be another.....minutes. Dispatch/office deserves 1 star. Driver deserves 5.

I was on my way home from laccassin Louisiana hit something was down, the first tow from a different company would only bring it to modica on 16 Street in orange. The next had I called and had Payne bring it to Walmart in orange. Told him id meet him at my car with the keys. He said around 60minutes. Legit 15minutes later he was there waiting on me. He was super quick. Brought my focus to Walmart, I followed. The guy was amazing, funny. He cared about my needs. He asked questions, he was very gentle and took extra care of my car loading and unloading. I can't remember his name to save my life. But this guy, 1 to 10, I give him a 100. He went beyond what I was expecting. He was fast, on-time, courteous, and a heart of gold. If it wasn't for covid id probably hugged the guy. You have a forever customer. If they allowed for a negative star I would give them a negative 10. My husband has been disabled on the road waiting on them to come since 9:40 AM this morning. They said 2 hrs. Well that time has surely passed since it’s now 5:31 PM! They keep giving him the runaround and now they are saying 10:30 PM!The only reason he is still waiting is because that’s the only company AAA uses in our area. They have had excuse after excuse as to why they haven’t shown up yet. Never again will we do business with them and probably won’t renew our AAA either.Run .... You may get there faster!I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!!

Deserves No Stars. The battery had stopped on my truck around 2am in a parking lot. I called my Roadside assistance and they sent me a text saying this tow service was coming within 75 mins. I live in Lake Charles and was a little surprised the tow service was coming from Beaumont. I just figured they would be the fastest that maybe all the other tow companies were tied up with wrecks or other services. My phone was nearly dead and I just had a light jacket on (was just supposed to be gone for 15 mins, didn't think I would be stuck and without heat). I was sitting in the truck, 46 degrees outside for nearly two hours. I forwarded the confirmation text to my husband and asked him to call to find out where the wrecker was at. My phone kept shutting off due to the battery. I ended up trying the truck again and it started with no battery light. I was able to plug in my phone and I found out they CANCELED the service saying it was to far, without notifying anyone. Not me nor my roadside assistance. They left me sitting in the cold with a dead phone, alone, when they could have easily notified my R.A to get another wrecker or not even accepted the job. Luckily I was able to drive the truck home and make it safely home.
