This is the last week that Abes will have our business. How hard is it to put the trash can back where you found it and standing up? Also, why would you throw it and completely block a sidewalk? Also, I put the can on the other side of a 40 foot driveway, and they drag it all the way across and just throw it wherever they feel like. If I could give zero stars, I would.

They only show up when they feel like it. I have to call them three times per month because they skip my house. This company is literally trash.

If I had the option to NOT add stars at all, they would not receive any. We went with Abe's to support local and they are a complete joke. They have thrown away trash cans, 3 now to date in a years time, leave trash behind, THROW our existing trashcans in the alley instead of putting them in the spot they belong. Send us "Late Notices" when we don't even receive our FIRST statement to begin with. We will be switching services. Absolutely worthless.

I was with Abe's 37yrs. When Omaha annexed our sub-division we stayed with Abe's even through a few rate hikes because service was excellent. However, costumer service, civilityand tact no longer reflected the business and charm that made the service unique or I was comfortable with. I'll miss the drivers, as they willing did their job when l had a senior moment.5 Stars prior to a unnecessary stupid notice!

Huge price hikes without any notice. The person on the phone was extremely rude as well.

Have used Abe's for several years at our business. When we bought our home on an acreage outside of the city we made the choice to use Abe's for our residential sevice. HUGE mistake! We were told to have our can out by the street before 6am. We can't put our can out the night before because of critters that live in the open fields and trees.We follow their rules and yet sometimes our trash gets picked up early, other weeks it's late, some weeks it doesn't come at all. When we call it's always the same excuse, "let me put you on hold while I contact the driver", "I'm sorry I couldn't get a hold of the driver", "can we pick it up next week?"When we say "no, our can is full and we pay to have it picked up weekly" the response is "ok we will get someone out there" and then a week goes by and our trash is never picked up.We once received the excuse, " your street is the first pick up". Who cares if I'm the first or the last pick up. I followed your rules, you took my money, do the job you said you would do. And DONT lie to your customers! Very unprofessional service!

Good customer service is a lost art in society today and my experience yesterday with Abe's Trash Service does nothing to dispel that myth. I called for a question about billing and was greeted by an individual that couldn't have been more rude and indifferent that a long-time customer was on the other end of the phone. It was clear that I was a complete interruption in her day.After hanging up the phone, I immediately began looking at other options for trash service and learned quickly that no trash service company in Omaha has a very high rating with a significant number of reviews submitted.The actual trash service from Abe's Trash Service has been good over the years but from a customer service standpoint, based on my own personal experience and those of the other reviews that I read, they appear to be satisfied with being the best of the worst. Such a missed opportunity considering that good customer service costs a company absolutely nothing but some intentionality from their employees.

We have been loyal customers for over 30 years. In fact, we stayed with Abe's when we were annexed into the city. For most of the time, the service has been great until the last few months. For several weeks in a row, not all the trash was picked up....bags and cardboard boxes left....and the trash cans (Abe's containers) just thrown on the ground...sometimes into the street or blocking the sidewalk. If you check your records, you will find that we have always advised you if we have something that is not normal trash and have paid for the haul away of things.We are very disappointed that the service has gone downhill.

After constantly having issues with the city’s trash service we broke down and got Abe’s. Best decision we’ve made! The first pick up, our neighbors had some work done on their house and one of the workers parked right in front of our bin. I figured they would just skip us since the car made it impossible to get to but the Abe’s employee moved our bin so they could get to it! Then this morning we didn’t move our bin to the curb but when they drove by and saw our bins up by the house the driver got out checked our bin and emptied it for us! He definitely went above and beyond for us and we are very thankful! Highly recommend this company!

First, we get a letter stating that all trash needs to be in bags and nice and neat because of this hoax virus that 99.9% of people recover from, give me a break...But, we respectfully followed their rules...Then they pickup the trash and leave the cans scattered all over the yard...Is it that hard to put the cans back where you found them?? Also, they miss half the trash and ends up blowing all over the neighborhood!! Stay away from this company!Service: Yard debris removal
