Bought a motor that was listed as A grade and as running well. I tore the motor down and found insane amounts of carbon build up on the pistons and the exhaust ports and valves were totally gunked up. No way it was running good like that, low compression and either bad valve guides or piston rings. Luckily I planned to rebuild it anyway but for someone else that woulda been a rip off

Very good customer service and reasonable price!!! I purchased a transmission computer from them two weeks ago and the dealership told me that it was not working. I call Alfred's to see if I can replace for a new one and they instantly said YES and no question was asked. I went for the replace in 30mins and now my car is back on the road!!! Many thanks and best wishes to you guys!!!

I was on a wild goose chase for hours trying to find a part that nobody had. Called Alfred’s and they had the part ready to go very quickly after I arrived at a super reasonable price. Customer service was awesome, I felt appreciated as a customer which is hard to come by nowadays. Will definitely come here first next time.

I bought an LS 6.0 complete motor from him. With delivery to NJ it was $1100. I was happy at the time. He gave me a 30 day warranty--which was fine. Unfortunately my mechanic didn't get to it until after the 30 days were up. The whole time it was still wrapped in the plastic that it was delivered in, in a back room--untouched. When he did get to it, I had him take it apart--just in case. Carfax said 108,000, receipt says 110,000--which is nothing for these motors. Upon inspection the cam bearings had to be replaced! Which cost me an extra $400! My advice--I know they're used parts--just make sure you do an inspection of any parts you get from him. I wasted an extra $400 that I didn't have. That's why I bought a low mileage motor in the 1st place.

The employees here are amazing! They’re helpful, friendly, and they make sure to give you absolute best service. I’ve gotten parts from this place multiple times and junked cars to them, each time I’ve been here has been great!

Really top notched vendor. Customer service exceed what is normal for used auto parts. Strongly recommend repeat business with this vendor. Front desk guy answered my question, quickly processed transaction and juggled multiple incoming calls in the process. Part was as described and professional team.

We purchased a motor from this company for a 1997 BMW z3. When we received the motor it was in very poor condition with water damage 1 bolt in the oil pan 2 bolts in the valve cover. When we removed the oil pan 2 of the connecting rods bolts for the caps were finger loose. When we inspected cylinders there was rust and water damage inside the cylinder. When we pulled the valve cover off cam shafts had rust like they had been in water. Front timing covers were full of blue silicone like it had been taken apart. We contacted the company to resolve the problem by getting a different motor or our money back. We were then told it was as is where is. We sent pictures and video to show proof of the poor motor. Afterwards, no one responded via email or by phone. I have been in business in Jupiter Florida for over 38 years and have never had anyone blatantly disregard help in anyway. ****BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PICTURES AND PROOF OF GOOD PARTS ****** I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!

If I could leave negative stars I would. Rude customer service. It takes a special person to be that bad. Bought an engine, paid delivery fee, they delivered a bad engine. Had to eat the delivery and engine installation cost, had to deliver the engine back and then they charged a 20% restocking fee even though the engine had a 30 day "warranty". Avoid this place at all costs. Greedy and rude and very unprofessional.

Hello! I was in a very tough situation and needed assistance with my car and it's salvage arrangements and Bob helped me in a way I cannot thank them enough for! Take your business here people because few and far between these days are professionals that are willing to work with you and help you during times of true need and I am so very grateful. You guys are the best!

Would like to rate higher, but waited 4 days for a call back after emailing, calling, and facebook messenger. Finally got someone on the phone, and never got a call back on the part I was looking for. I run a busy shop and don't have time for games - other companies wanted money more. too bad!

I called Alfred’s looking for a piece I needed and by the time I got there it was already pulled and waiting for me at the lowest price that anyone gave me! I will recommend anyone to come here. Fast , very friendly, and efficient!

Sold a broken grille without disclosing, charged $50 for shipping but the item was only warped with plastic. Very unprofessional… Edit: (response to the owner) 1st the item was broken and repaired and the pictures you sent is from far away and not showing the crack and you failed to disclose it, 2nd you should have put it in a box to ship a fragile item dont warp it in plastic only, 3rd if its broken during shipping why you asking me to pay for shipping to send it back (another $50) ? Its all your mistakes i dont have to pay. This all shows your level of professionalism

Just waste almost two hours just cause the guy stated hood for audi q7 was 000 mint condition. When arrived on spot, hood was dented, heavy scratches allover, don't even mention on the bad condition underneath, hood needs quite a bit of body work and paint. Guy was rude and didn't even want to talk about it even when I offer him 700$ ( his price was 1000$) to be fair so I can pay body shop to fix it. He turn this around to looks like I was trying to bs him and get it cheap. For 660-750$ I can get this hood scratched everywhere, 1200$ brand new from the dealer. BEWARE and ask for pictures before you waste your time with this place.

I tried to order parts and help local store they wanted 3 times the price if I just got it brand new from dealership. Also if you don't give them a fair price they will threaten you and say don't call back again.

Hanna's by any other name STILL STINKS! Bad parts, bad attitude, bad policies. BTW, don't ever let someone tell you that you have to leave a deposit while they pull your part. I have been in this industry since 1983 and have purchased lots of used parts and here is how it works; They produce a used component for your inspection. If you like it, you buy it. If you don't like it, you don't buy it. No strings attached. PS after left this review, someone called and threatened my service writer on 1/22/20 that they were going to get, "punched in the face"
- RRyan Wilmott (SavagePoker)
These guys are the best in the area. They always have what I need for my Audi, and they do all the heavy lifting for me. They set the standard for what an auto salvage yard should be. Awesome place!
- DDaniel Araujo
I had Terrible experiences with old ownership when it was Hannas. ALFREDS I'd much better Dylan, and Bob took good care of me pulled the part within 15 mins. I really am glad it's under new ownership..
- CChris Ignatowski
I own CLI Automotive shop in West Valley New York. The beginning of this week alfred's salvage yard was referred to me by a local salvage yard that did not have the engine I needed. Alfred's said they had the engine, would put a hold on it. They called my shop yesterday to make sure I was still coming there today. After driving over five hours one way they realized that they did not have the engine. $200 in fuel plus time missed at the shop is an extremely expensive day and still don't have an engine. I just got sorry. No reimbursement for fuel. I would give 0 stars if I could.
- DDeSean Baker
These guys go above and beyond when you need assistance... they even stand after hours to fix my car, I'll reccomend 6 stars if it was available. If you need work done forget about other shops and come directly here. These guys have my respect
- DDANNY FATZINGER
These guys are fantastic. I use them for engines, transmissions, differentials, and other random parts. Great pricing, never got a bad part from them. Definitely recommend them.
- AAJ Schwartz
Very helpful. Had a hard time locating my part in their shop initially, but after continued efforts they found it! Worked out great!
- JJonathan Medina
Talk to Bob, great guy and the prices are insanely good you cannot beat it, got my 2013 mustang front bumper cover from them, drove almost 3 hours, well worth it!
- PPeter Bank

- NNess Matias
Great customer service and extremely helpful with getting you what you need. 2nd time getting a engine from this location. No need to go to the JDM depot in Jersey.
- AAdrian R
Bad customer service poor additude. This place is no longer call ""Hanna's"", is now call ""Alfred's Auto Works and Recycling"" with the same owner same workers. ""This place is trash, these people has to change the name of the campany""
- AAshley Hartman
Called all around and noone had the part we needed. Called these guys and they had it. And at a much better price than the dodge dealer!
