Shredder aluminum prices were low, but within range.I had a load of cats and Assad lowballed me on them and then paid me out cash on 'em; he's clearly running his own side hustle there. I didn't have nothin' in them, but $10 apiece for brand new, never installed aftermarket converters? Pretty sure he's buying them for cash, then selling 'em to the bossman at the actual rates they pay (they pay by check, so someone offering cash money sticks out a little), and pockets the difference.This was a perfectly average scrap experience... as at most yards, there's always someone with an angle, taking already-low prices and pushing 'em down. Whether it's mislabeling your scrap, cheating the scales, or something like this, it's par for the course.

It’s a great place to take scrap metal! Their prices are up to date and I enjoy being able to pull in the scale weigh my tin and number 1 steel unload and go. The people are generally friendly the workers are friendly! All around I do recommend taking scrap here to make a few extra bucks in your pocket! Just be careful it’s heavy traffic inside and sometimes you will pick up a nail or 2 in your tire or get a bump into by another vehicle (thankfully you have to be slow so it’s usually a light tap we got tapped today when we took scrap in)
