The staff is polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I have been to 5 other salvage yards in the last 10 years and Arrow stands out beyond the rest. Prices are fair and the service has always been good at Arrow. Dont waste your time going to other yards especially if you are a homeowner like me. Save up your copper, brass, motors and stainless steel since those are the higher value stuff then gather up the the rest of your metal junk and e-waste and bring it to them.

First time going their and they messed up weighing the van after we unloaded over a thousand pounds of cast iron radiators and boiler. Had to wait for them to figure out what was going. then after much confusion they decided to pick it all up with a fork lift and put it into carts to weigh it inside. what should have been a 10 minute transaction ended up taking a full hour. Ridiculous and unprofessional. go to 2 Brothers in Farmingdale instead.

The Best place on LI to sell your scrap. The prices are according to the market, and you will never get lowballed on price. Too many other Scrap yards out here will screw you over if you're not educated on what you are selling.

Absolutely the best scrap metal yard on long island.. been doing business with them for 20+ years as an HVAC technician scrapping coils, copper, motors, etc. They have the friendliest service and nicest scale guys. Always best prices around.

I've been to both locations to scrap various metals I have through my side welding business. All I can say is that they are simply the best. I trusted them only to find they did not pay the price they quoted me for my copper. They quoted me for insulated copper $1 a pound, it's on there webste, but paid me .35 a pound on 200 lbs. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM WHAT THEY PAY BEFORE YOU WEIGH IT!!!!! This rule holds true for any scrap yard. Beware.
