The people at Metal Movers were awesome. Very friendly and convenient hours and open on the weekends. I now know who to go to when I am turning in my copper wire

Never open til when they say they are. Website hours are wrong. Very hard to talk to an actual person. Don't call for a quote. They tell you thing on the phone then it's a lower price when you get there.

Easy in, easy out. Not paying very well, but neither are most recyclers.

Was told they would be open until 4 over the phone, got there at 3:38 to drop off a couple things we needed gone today, nothing huge and was told the were closing the window. I said rather unhappy that I was told specifically over the phone they were open to 4, and the moron promptly replied that it was 3:48 and there were more customers in front of me. It was 3:38 and there was no one else waiting, they turned away the 3 ahead of me too. Don't waste your time on these people, because it will be a waste.

$3 fee I feel like their scales are light

Cleanest scrap yard I've ever been to! I was blown away by it, huge relief not having to worry about puncturing my tires in the yard

I've been coming here since 2014. I always try to avoid coming here because it is the farthest away for me, they have had unfair prices in the past and the non-ferrous side doesn't know what they're doing. I brought in a load that every other scrap yard has taken (they were the only one open) and they turned me away. I have a 44 mile round trip to them and back. I got $13 for my non-ferrous brass and copper put in gas and got home with less gas than what I left with thanks. Ridiculous.

I called on Monday (7/25/16) and on Friday (7/28/16) and a woman with their company quoted me at $1.30 per pound for #2 copper wire. She went on to define copper wire as "anything at least as big as Christmas light wire." She then gave me the business' address to confirm that I had the correct place and told me they open at 8 on Saturdays. I came in today (7/30/16) to exchange my copper wire and they only gave me $0.30 per pound and didn't tell me that they were giving me that price until after I had exchanged it. When I asked for my wire back they told me, "No, all sales are final." When I complained to the lady at the cashier desk she said I was lying, that they never give quotes over the phone, and that I had to take what they were offering because they wouldn't give my wire back. I feel like I've been lied to over the phone, cheated and then called a liar to my face. I could have gotten over twice what they forced me to take at other recycling places, but I didn't have that opportunity because they tricked me into bringing my wire there and then stole it from me and forced me to take next to nothing for it. This is a horrible way to run a business, and I will make sure to tell everyone that I know who would ever recycle any metal to never bring their business here. I know I will never be bringing my business back.
