I called about a vehicle to see if they had one on the lot and was told they had it and that when I got there I would be given a map to find it. I loaded up my tools and got there about an hour after I called and when I got there was told that they crushed the vehicle a half hour ago. I will not be going back as that is terrible customer service.

One of the cleanest and nicest pick-n-pulls I've ever been too. The guys at the desk are always helpful and the yard is clean and organized.

This was my first time coming here. I normally go to their competitors right up the road but I was referred to here by a friend. One thing I absolutely loved about this place is they have an online inventory so you don’t need to call in and it has the color of the vehicle and in some cases it says what kind of damage it has (front end etc). This really helps someone like me who lives 2 hours away in Albany who needs to make sure before I make the drive out there. They had what I needed and at a reasonable price. I also like that they had big 4 wheeled carts for you if you got a bunch of stuff. Staff was friendly. I guess my only complaint is that the cars sit directly on the ground. I know you can request they put them up on a rack but it makes taking off some simple things in the wheel well difficult when they are on the ground but that’s not too big of a deal. Other than that it’s a clean yard with a great selection of parts. Definitely adding this to my list of pull it places and it will be the first option if I need to go to a pull it yard from now on!

People in this building will tell you they're open till 4:00 If you think you're going to be remotely close to 4:00 when you arrive don't bother because they will turn you away at 3:55

Honest company, would definitely deal with them again. Thanks Mike and the whole team

Excellent you pull it yard ! They will cross reference and verify interchange ability, then give you stock numbers of exact vehicles that may have a viable part. Yard is organized well and readily accessible. If you find what your looking for GET IT ! Cause vehicles don't last long here. Need a larger part, or a torch out, they will pull it for you at a small charge. So if your coming from east of Rome BY, it's worth the ride

I had a good experience picking up a part here. On time and fair deals in my scrapping experience as well. One of their employees was outside smoking a cigarette and told me not to tell anyone inside as he had told everyone else he had quit. Not sure Seneca's are real cigarettes anyway. Another employee with a large head appeared to be levitating around the office. All in all a good spot with good people.

I only will go to and refer anyone to only 2 yards and this place is definitely one of them 2. It's clean(for a yard) ,organized, and is filled with amazing employees.

We love going to Rubicon. We usually find whatever parts we need at a great price. I love that they put the car or truck up on a stand so it makes it easier to get to hard places under the vehicle. Dave is great. He knows us by name and is always so friendly.Everyone there have always been so friendly. We even bake for them once in a while. We travel about 70 miles 1 way to get there. Thank u everyone at Rubicon. Stay safe.

Helpful staff. Awesome winter hat. And the door I needed. It was a productive trip into the parts yard.

Had a very good experience yesterday at Rubicon. Was going in for a couple things one being leaf spring and they were very prompt on getting the truck up on their stands after I found the truck I was looking to remove them from. And everyone in the office was awesome to. Thanks again guys. Plan on coming back for more parts.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with them. We called on a Thursday early afternoon to schedule a pickup for our car that needed to be towed there for scrap. The gentleman took all of our information and told us they would be there tomorrow. The next day came and at 3:30 pm they had not yet arrived and as we were going to be leaving the house (not having been told that we didn’t need to be there, we weren’t sure what to do) I called to ask what was going on. The gentleman then explained that we didn’t need to be there and how the whole process works, (we got no information from the first man.) He told me they may come at night for it and once it was gone we could come collect our money with our paperwork. Today, Saturday at 1 pm they had still not come for it and we had not heard from them, so I called again. Turns out the first man did not put out information in correctly so we were not scheduled at all and the second man did not check while I was in the phone with him that afternoon. I was told to call back Monday and they would schedule me. I’m sorry, but I do not need another chore to do. I just wanted it done the first time. I really didn’t need or want a fast pickup, I just don’t appreciate being lied to and having it placed back on my shoulders. I am a customer service rep and have been for over 5 years and that is just bad business. When you screw up, you fix it. It’s not the customers problem. We will be taking our vehicle to Vince’s instead. Still, no one I spoke to was rude, so they do have that was one pleasant thing.

All you will ever get is tin pricing. I must not know my metals very well because I brought in a bunch of heavy duty retail shelving (heavy steel uprights various flat shelves and heavy duty wire shelving for retail displays and was told nope I get tin pricing. And for reference this stuff had no plastics no rubber. Nothing but solid heavy steel. Tin pricing……. I was told it wasn’t large enough to qualify for any better than tin. Shouldn’t I be paid for the material I brought in? It wasn’t mixed and it wasn’t tin. People were nice though. That’s why there is two stars here.

I bought a motor and transmission from them. Was told it was coming out of one unit and would be delivered as one unit. Came as 2 prices. Motor is good transmission is bad. They changed the deal when they decided to use from 2 different cars. Didn't bother to call me. Charged me double for the engine I could buy at half the price anywhere. Said they would reimburse me for the transmission. Still waiting for it. Over a week now. Seams like I get a lot of, it should be there anytime, all the while I sit and wait so I can get a different tranny somewhere else. All in all not a good experience with them. Buy at your own risk. One more thing, the reason I bought from them was all the great reviews I read on them from this post and eBay. Lesson learned I guess.
- cchristine coventry
bought a Subaru engine supposedly AAA+ rated. NOT. it's junk had promises from Josh to be refunded for 3 weeks finally made a dispute with credit card company. tried to be patient but I'm over it. My 1 star is only because can't post without 1. I would give them -5

Guys were nice to deal with face to face, but I was told everything in my trailer was tin. I've got a college education and know the difference between tin and steel, but was not going to argue over this and waste my time, as I had plans for 10am. Anyway, I probably would take my metal into Syracuse next time. If the I owners read this, I was there 9/7 around 930am. I had steel pipes, bed frames, disassembled washer to name a few.
- TTOG YMK
No admission fee, and I was actually impressed by how cleanly and organized things were for a junk yard. Unfortunately, their inventory for pull and save left a little to be desired.
- DDaNON Flasher
Better yard for scrap than for car parts .not a fan of their set up but what ever works for them......input ......raised cars for sure and long rows not 4 deep 10 car long sections would work better for me and my quests but again what works for you guys you've been there a while so something is working.
- LLouis Tucker
Probably the best prices for scrap around ! I go every 1 - 2 months and take scrap metal for some extra money / gas money. Staff is polite and overall experience is great compared to others.
- MMike Racquet
I love the place, most of the workers were very helpful an tons of cars an trucks to choose from. Spent the better part of my day there.
- wwhopper jeuiner
Horrible service, makes the whole process arbitrary. They care more about making the sale then customer service. Making the whole process as annoying as possible. They ask you drive back and forth just so you pay for it in advance. Then they expect you to drive back there after you paid for it. They care more about there bottom dollar then customer service.
- KKinney Melvin
They need to learn over the phone customer service because you call to ask to see if they have the vehicle u need parts from so you dont waste your time driving 1hr to nothing. How do you not know what you have in your yard do.you not have a list of what's in your yard or do say ooo there is a truck and ooo here is a car. Think you need to get some customer service experience.
- MMichael Polk
Great prices and don’t charge for every clip, wire, and bracket attached to the part you are getting, unlike the other junk yard.
- WW iM
Great place to pick and pull. The staff is nice and willing to help. They will even pull parts for you. As well as have an online shop.
- JJamie Fields
Great place to get parts from and they pick the cars and puts them on stands for u to remove parts easy and every first Saturday of the month the have a fill a 5 gallon bucket for 30 and that's a deal
- DDarrell Plichta
Yup that's tin. Everything is tin according to them. Awful place, unless you want to argue for an hour (or be a regular) they will take your steel and give you tin prices. Huh, I wonder if their selling it for tin prices?
- CChris Snyder
First time ever going there awesome prices highly recommend other people to go I will go again if I have more scrap and if I'm in the area working again
- AAdam Cesario
Great place to get parts. They treat you with respect, unlike upull usave in Syracuse... counter man dave is best . Thanks for all the parts and great prices
- PPatrick Davis
Prices ar far more reasonable than vinces in most cases. Only negative it cars arnt on stands . 20 bucks for a rear window sure beats the 70 vinces quoted me
- RRonald G. Hulgan
Great selection, clean yard, honest pricing! And gave us a great deal for this 1964 Jeep for our American Legion display!
