I just sold my 2010 Honda Odyssey to Big Tane and his team, and I couldn't be happier! After the car sat in our driveway for a year, we finally reclaimed our space. My partner and I struggled for months and months with the Utah DMV, making countless trips to try to transfer the out-of-state vehicle without a title. We invested so much time, money, and effort into legalizing the car, but nothing worked out. Feeling hopeless, we decided our only option was to sell it, but Utah laws complicated things since you can’t sell a vehicle without a title. And yet, I couldn’t get the DMV to give me a title! I even tried to donate it, only to have all the charities I reached out to tell me they couldn’t take it without a title. Then, one day my partner took his truck to a local mechanic for a check-up, and happened upon Big Tane’s business cards which were on the front desk. The garage told him Big Tane could help us with our Honda situation. Fast forward to today—our driveway and backyard are finally ours again! We dropped off the Honda, signed a few papers, and Big Tane even surprised us with cookies as a thank-you gift! I still can’t believe the Honda is gone; it feels surreal to look outside and not see it there. If you're in a similar situation with a car you can't legalize, I highly recommend reaching out to Big Tane. I don’t know how he did it, but he worked some magic, I’ll tell you that.

I first called and spoke to Rachel, she was hilarious and it was a great time speaking to her. After she quoted me and I was thinking about it, Tane had called to speak to me and when he came out to check out my car, he ended up quoting me more than what Rachel had said which was a great surprise considering my car really wasn't worth that much. Plus, Tane gave me free cookies (which were better than Crumbl) a massive bonus on top of getting more for my vehicle. I definitely recommend to anyone selling an older vehicle!

Tane was absolutely great. He was so helpful during the difficult process of parting with a depleted family car. I’d highly recommend him to anyone. He was professional, kind and thoughtful. The pricing was very fair. We had a difficult timeline with the car stuck at a repair shop and he made it work. He even had a box of cookies to cheer us up over the cars demise. My experience with Big Tane was 10/10. My car died unexpectedly and I was unsure of what to do with it. Our mechanic didn’t have any helpful suggestions on what to do next and I felt hopeless. I started calling dealerships and junkyards and I didn’t find anyone who I felt was being helpful or who even cared. Luckily I found Big Tane!! I called and left a message and he got back to me within a couple hours. He made me feel at ease within just the few minutes we spoke on the phone. His process was so smooth and so easy. I didn’t have to get my car towed to him. He came to look at it then made me an offer that was above what I had been quoted by the dealership and other junkyards. He also came prepared to help me with my title, which I couldn’t find. I can’t reiterate enough how fast, simple and smooth the process was. Tane was literally the only bright spot in the process of dealing with my totaled 2012 Kia Soul. My car was struck in a hit and run and while insurance took forever to figure things out, Tane agreed to go ahead and tow my car and hold it for me - for free if I ended up giving it to him to salvage and for a reasonable fee otherwise. If he had not agreed to do so, I don’t know how I would have moved my car from the accident scene so quickly. It definitely would have been costly since my insurance wouldn’t cover the tow. Tane held my car for 5 days until I finally got what I needed from insurance. I ended up having him salvage it and got a few hundred dollars for it and did not have to pay anything for the other services. He was super easy to work with and we kept in touch by phone and text while everything was going on. He even met me at my home to sign the paperwork and pay me. He really goes above and beyond and I am grateful for his patience and attentiveness. A huge bonus was the helpful advice he gave me in searching for a new car. (Also, the cookies!) Thanks, Tane!

It was a sad day when I had to part ways with my cute little red 2015 Chevy Trax. I was the only owner of that car and very proud to have paid it off in just 5 years. The engine gave out and it was going to be too expensive to replace so I went looking online to find a salvage yard. There’s a lot of websites to choose from in the Salt Lake valley and I received some really good offers. But I was looking for someone with good reviews and a great reputation. Big Tane had the best reviews. There was story after story of people saying what a great experience they had and how they felt that Big Tane treated them fairly. I could have gone with someone else and gotten a better price but their reviews were unremarkable. All in all, a pleasant experience. Thanks Big Tane!

If you are looking stellar customer service give Big Tane a call! I was referred to him by Shadetree Automotive. I was in a time crunch and needed to find a company quick to pick up my car that i wanted to junk that I was not going to be able to get repaired. Tane was great to work with, very friendly, and arranged his schedule so we could meet up that night to take care of my car. Tane was great with my Son who was with me, gave me some great advise on a new car I purchased that same day, and even gave us some cookies to thank us for using his business! Big Tane was AMAZING. Truly, an angel when I most needed it. I was in the middle of a very stressful experience, where my car was not operable and I needed to wash my hands of it, AND I had a significant time crunch. I did a whole bunch of research and got other quotes, and those experiences left me feeling uncomfortable. There were lots of little loopholes where they would offer a higher price, but then would potentially tack on extra fees to lessen that quote if they came out. From the moment Big Tane called me, I was like "YES. This guy is real, trustworthy, and authentic." I asked him a bunch of questions over the phone (bless his patience), and he assured me that him coming to look at my vehicle was completely free of charge, and if I didn't feel comfortable? No harm, no charge, and we'd part as friends.He ABSOLUTELY delivered on that. Besides just being a jovial guy in general, he explained everything to me, and gave me a great price for my vehicle. AND on top of that, he gave me some delicious cookies! I can't recommend him highly enough. If you're in a similar situation I was, this is your guy. He's an amazing human, and will do right by you. A couple of weeks ago my honda accord that I had been driving broke down and the price to repair it simply wasn't worth it to me. For the next couple days/weeks I began to work through many car dealerships, mechanics, car salesmen, and other people selling cars to find a new one. Through my experience, I met some great people but at the same time others who I felt like I couldn't trust or who were giving me a good price. I knew immediately based off of Tane's demeanor that he cares about his clients and wants to help them out. I had a very good conversation with him and could tell that he is passionate about what he does. Very personable, friendly guy!
