Selling our VW Tiguan to Tane was an absolute breath of fresh air after a nightmare experience with the dealership. For weeks, I could barely get updates about our car’s status- sometimes going a week or more without hearing anything. After paying $3,800 for repairs, the dealership finally told us the engine was condemned due to metal shavings in the oil and offered no goodwill or assistance, even though we’d just purchased the car used in April.<br><br>When Tane heard our situation, he was kind, competent, and genuinely happy to help. I got the bad news that my trucks engine had to be replaced and it would cost more than just getting a new one.
