3.7 stars based on 30 reviews- DDavid Matthews
I have always been given good prices. Very easy to work with compared to many other places i have been.
- DDavid Burelsmith
Dropped of some aluminum cans, they are paying 55 cents a pound today. Good setup for brining in truck loads or trailer loads of stuff too, with good signs. Staff was nice an helpful, but better signs for people bringing bags of aluminum cans would be helpful.
- CCynthia Kennedy
Mike was super nice and helpful - was able to find me the part I needed for my car and had it ready for me when I got there 😎
- KKyle Chaddick
I actually liked this place so the little short old man with the gray hair came out yelling at me today because I was coughing him money that my trailer wasn't unloaded on time and I'm just thinking what is wrong with this man and you don't talk to people like that especially your customers I'll never go back to this place again

Friendly people, super cute working dog 11/10, would visit again.
- DDAMI LOBO
Always great coming here for their service, they get you in and out

The man at the desk when you right walk in is so nice and friendly. I was getting rid of tons of material and another man name Alonso unloaded for me. Easy process. I read reviews prior to coming and there was lots of negative stating staff was not the nicest. That was opposite of my interaction with everyone there. I’ve been here several times and each time they’ve always been so kind. I didn’t bother to price hunt where can get me more. It has been a quick and easy experience that I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

OMG. This is the best service that I’ve encounter so far. The service was amazing for my first experience. Transaction was simple and seamless. Thank you very much.

Was paid $0.70/lb lbs for 18 lbs of #2 insulated wire and $0.04/lb for 139 lbs of tin.. lol did not know it was that bad... should have read the reviews.

The only place I recycle. Been coming here for many years. Best place around this area.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. This is the place to go if you want to get ripped off! Went there with 50 pounds of 3/0 copper that I accumulated over 4 months as I am an electrician. The Hispanic guy with the gold teeth tried to tell me the 3/0 copper I brought was #2 and worth only .46 cents a pound. I said **** no and went to general recycle and they gave me the price of #1 which was 3 times that amount. Will not go there again. Don’t get ripped off by the guy with the gold teeth.

Love this place! Super easy drop off. I get cash for keeping metal out of the landfill.
- JJ Dallas
The owner should definitely look into the new employees, I been coming here for years.

Excellent service! Very friendly!

If I could give this company (if that’s what you want to call them ) zero stars I would, they told me that they would give me a certain amount over the phone and when I got there they changed the the price so when I decided to separate the metals they told that should have already done it which I didn’t know so the guy tells me to load my things back on the truck and leave and at this time I’m very confused so I asked why he couldn’t tell me and he walks away and all of his coworkers couldn’t tell me either so I did as he said. I know this guy wasn’t the owner but he is definitely not a people person and wouldn’t ever go back and advise others to be aware.

I had roll offs brought to my location and loaded 5 30 yd units. when i called to see how much weight i had sent in, they only had the information on the last container they picked up. and when i asked about the other 4, he said i had an attitude, but he would look into it.. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM, A TOTAL RIP OFF.

Took a load of steel here and was blown away by how little they offered per pound. Called around and they are paying 1/2 the amount other scrap yards are offering. Kindly mentioned my findings to the gentleman answering the phone, and he shortly responded for me to go elsewhere. Earn yourself some extra money and take your scrap to CMC, plus they are much more polite.
- NNay Pay
The gentleman who handles customers at the front was direct, quick, and helpful. He actually carried half of my scrap from the car (which has to be parked about 40-50 yards away from the scale because of the onsight traffic) to the scale itself, which is conveniently located right in front of the office windows; and this on a very nipply January day. The place was quite busy with their daily business on both occasions that I visited the yard at their Lewisville location, though the other costumers who were selling their scrap were in and out in no time. The staff in the back were also friendly and pert. They had my check ready in about 5 minutes on the first visit, and had me applied for the cash card in the even less time. All in all the first visit took about 30 minutes. The second visit (for which i had much less scrap to sell) took less than 5 minutes, and with my new cash card in hand, I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes! My only question was that on the first visit I netted about $13.00 for my Yellow Brass, and didn't have much weight that time. The second time I thought I had quite a bit more weight in Yellow Brass and somehow I only netted $18.00. I'll do a better job of figuring on the next visit, but on the whole I was quite pleased with this operation. Thanks Trip A!

Every month I bring in a few pounds of different types of number 1 number 2 copper and shield copper but as soon as we get to the shield copper every month at a different price regardless of how much copper prices are at the time. I've also taken in solid aluminum plates and was told they were not solid aluminum. I also was told 2 or 3 times that the number 1 copper I had was not considered number 1 copper after I brought the same exact type of wire in month after month. I was able to get it taken care of. But the customer service is not very friendly especially not the cashier

Will never go again got ripped off don't pay right
- RRay Trigg
Absolutely the fastest scrapyard I’ve ever been to very professional and friendly
- PPhoenix
Quick, easy, great price!
- MMynor Escobar
Great place, man directing traffic need a better attitude please talk to him.
- SScott Unknown
While the scale operator is a friendly guy to speak with the rest of the staff I've encountered are VERY unfriendly. Prices are good for the Lewisville area and your unloaded pretty quick.
- CChaotic Carnival
With copper being over 3 dollars a pound right now they gave me 26 cents, kinda feel like I got ripped off
- MMarcus Williams
WATCH OUT FOR THE WORKERS THAT OPERATE THE SCALE BY THE OFFICE! THEY PUSH THEIR FOOT UP ON THE SCALE WHEN WEIGHING UR COPPER OR SOME OTHER METALS. IVE SEEN IT DONE ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS. MAKE SURE TO TELL THE WORKER TO TAKE HIS FOOT OUT FROM UNDER THE SCALE!!! They take just about anything metal wise.
- bbrian Hicks
Well not much to share except these people are thieves. Called to see how much they are paying for #1 and #2 they $2.65 and $2.60. Called almetco and they said $3.65 and $3.05. Dont wast your time with this trash place.
- AAdam Vaughan
Nice people very competent helped me sort everything and was informative
- SSteven Saracino
It's a good place, the only issue is they close before their posted closing time. I have went twice within their operating hours and they closed 30-40 minutes early.
- IIony Noeraa
Do not come here complete rip off. 2 copper is currently around $2.80-3.00 per pound, after unloading and taking my copper they told me $2.15 per pound. Had I known this I would have laughed and taken my scrap somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE.
