I often go to Dionosio iron and metal to sell copper, brass, aluminum and other metals. I'm a junker -i was planning on having about 60$ this trip. I'm a girl and so I guess because I'm a girl...they gave me lower prices than clean copper #1 they paid me 10¢ a pound for everything I took. Then when he went to the back and came back up front...I said if it weighs zero I am taking it back. He has the scale rigged up. I don't understand...he isn't paying me out of his pocket. He cheated me even though he has seen me there a million times. What a POS. I will never go to a Dionosio again. This place really went down hill since last year, this was a new level of low though. I left with 13$. What a disappointment

Exit scale overweighs by 15-20 lbs. When blonde gal was asked about it, she became very hostile and confrontational. She claimed that the state came out every single morning and tested calibration, which in itself is a lie. Why lie? Because you're.... yep, I'm going to say it... BECAUSE YOU'RE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.

rolloff service is great. I will no longer sell copper stainless or high temp alloys to dionisio. the manager is extremely rude but mostly ignorant. He either doesn't understand English or mostly pretends not to. his knowledge of alloys and copper grades is seriously lacking. I assume he treats everyone like a fool even though many of us have more knowledge and years more experience.

Recycled aluminum cans at 20¢ a pound. I got a receipt that I then had to insert into an ATM machine to get my money. I was confused of what I was to do with the receipt since it was my first time there.

California pays at least $1.65 a lb. For aluminum cans. Colorado is pitiful.

Top pay in town I’ve found so far for all the assorted metals and precious I’ve brought to them.

Great staff. Always goes the extra mile for me since I've been doing businessbwith them. Only problem was that one white dude who ripped me on the scale with the polished brass. I even had it seperated. He still priced it with the yellow. Granted it was close to closing time, however I be been in business with you guys over ten years and this is what I should expect?

Good people. I use them a lot. But if you recycle e-waste, you’ll have to sell it online or take it to Springs if you want better than low or mid-grade board prices. That includes motherboards, RAM sticks, CPUs, and gold-fingered cards. If you’re just selling steel or copper, aluminum, or brass, they are my go to yard in Pueblo. The guys working in the steel yard are usually super helpful unloading alongside of you so you can get out of there fast. One time they used a huge magnet to take metal off my trailer. Pretty cool, but I’m easily amused. The ladies at the front desk are always nice and super fast checking customers out to be paid. Edit: I've had a few sub par experiences over the past 6 months or so, but only in the steel recycling area, and those issues are not the norm and definitely are not representative of my typical experience here. There have actually been more helpful workers in that area recently. One in particular is night and day excellent at helping customers compared to a couple of the old timer guys on the steel side who can either be tolerable or just plain rude. Luckily, they have great workers there and elsewhere who make up for it. The guys at the copper/brass/aluminum recycling area are super helpful and polite even when they again have to point out when I accidently sort something incorrectly every now and then. My only real negative comment about Dionisios is that they close pretty early during the week, and before covid, or not much longer before the lock down, they were open Monday - Saturday. They stopped opening on Saturdays a while ago, and I was hoping they would go back to 6 days a week, but that hasn't happened yet. Still only 5 days a week with a 4pm closing time, and that makes coordinating my loads from many jobs, depending on where in town the job is, often challenging as I'm frequently having to race to get there by 330pm so I can get everything unloaded and processed out by 4pm. Ideally they would be open 24/7. But I guess they deserve a little time off. :)

They say they take catalytic converters and pay from $5 and up. From my understanding when places like this are buying them they must look up the casting numbers to determine the value. I had a guy that didn't speak English just look and tell me $10 for a factory cat with casting numbers when I should've been given at least $40 or more for them. Man do they like to take your profit massively. I would suggest going elsewhere...

very nice people and easy to work with. Working a large project that involved a lot of metal. They sent compensation on metal dumpsters quickly and responded to our needs effectively as well... Would not hesitate recommending them to anyone in the area.

I have hauled scrap for a long time to Dionisios. They have always been great to me. Very helpful, very respectful. They are always professional in all they do. And the yard is clean and easy to get around.

First time recycling metal (aluminum cans and steel cans) anywhere other than the city owned recycling center. Very impressed with fast assistance and ease of navigating through the process.

Asked for a price quote on a couple catalytic converters and was told $5-$60. I'm from out of state so not sure how it's done around here but I was already offered $200 each, so I'm confused as to why they would so obviously low-ball me????

So Apparently, if I want to rent a dumpster from these people, I have to call everyday to see if one is available?? Not good business in my opinion! I will not be calling back.

This is a no joke metal scrapyard that also rents roll-offs. They have 200 of them that are currently all in use, so the prices must be good.

I admit that the customer service is very high although their weigh in for scraps and can aren't , I took twelve 40 gallon bags full of aluminum cans and got ten dollars back, wasn't expecting a lot but I wasn't expecting that little
