Was my first time here! Super friendly staff, was even offered a job! Cant wait to come back with more stuff n things to sell!!!

First time going. It was a bit confusing but the employees helped. Called for prices in the morning and went in the afternoon. Prices were exactly what they quoted and higher than anyone else in the area.Edit: went there again to take aluminum cans in for earth day. Prices were the same as another yard on the area. The guy at the scale was pretty rude and told someone to cut in front of me. Seems that the weight was off by quite a bit. Always weigh them at home before you come in just to be sure. I had 2 trash bags of cans and they adjusted the weight by 4 pounds to account for the bags. Just imagine how many times per day they do this and what it would add up to. Not sure if I'll becoming back here if there isn't a significant price difference.Edit: Went again and had a very pleasant experience. The scale guy came out multiple times and was really nice. Chatted a bit. There was a different guy in the non-ferrous building and he was ok. Changing my review from 3 to 4 stars.

Friendly & fast service. Called first & asked questions about what I needed to know. Must have your title with you to junk vehicle & licence. Payment & service window at the backside of building. Parking in lot available in front of building on N. Arlington st. & then you can walk around building to the back. Cars or trucks are driven onto scale in the scrap yard in back or brought in by tow & weighed. 6 ft. social distancing at service & payment window/ door. I highly recommend Holub Recycling for all your scrap business.

The lady who answered the phone was very rude and argumentive. I was calling trying to find out why I hadn't received a call stating that the pick up guy was running late and she was completely rude. The way she conducted business was very nasty. She was very unprofessional and I won't be doing business with them.

Waited on hold for 10 minutes, then the call was dropped! Can I get a freaking price please! Ugh

What can i say about a scrapyard. They have been open and doing this a long time. They are fast, courteous and friendly. I have the option of many different scrapyards here in Akron. I always choose Holub.
