I been to this place quite often and everytime I come he always makes me wait almost an hour no matter if it's to pay me or weigh my stuff. I been dealing with customers at my job for a long time and he def doesn't know how to treat his customers right. I went last month and there wasn't no customers there and he threw a fit and started crying because one of his employees wasn't working the crane correctly. Like omg Jeff learn to don't stress to easily

Great place. It was my first time at this scrap yard. I was visiting because United Salvage allows the public to purchase from their yard. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I ended up buying 800 lbs of steel to turn in my lathe. I was able to get one of the workers to help me move the steel with the excavator and torch cut a long piece of steel into a bunch of sections for me, free of charge! Also, they don't take credit/debit cards - I found out the hard way. The owner was very understanding about the situation and let me get to an ATM to grab cash. I'll come better prepared next time!

Best Scrap prices at the present time. Jeff the Owner is a really good guy. What I like about him is hes Real . He has his shortcomings as we all do but I've seen alot of growth and change in this man over years as he has learned to deal with the constant change associated with the scrap metal industry and puts his heart n soul into his business A+++

These people are terrible they take your scrap and then they dont want to pay you they let homeless people throw rocks and break peoples windshields. I will go to any other scrap yard then them. They are rude and have bad attitudes.

My family and I have been dealing with Jeff and United Salvage family for over 50 years. It is always a pleasure taking a load to them. It never feels like a chore since the staff are beyond hustling to help out. I always know that I am getting a fair price for any load with them!

Family owned business that has been there forever and Jeff the owner is on a first-name basis with all of the regulars. I also like the fact that they let you purchase things out of the yard and pay by the pound. Supporting small businesses is what is going to make this country great again!

Absolutely love this place. Jeff and his boys are real good down to earth people.

The go to place for buying construction material. I like the helpful people who work with unloading my scrap. I especially recommend buying sheet metal or any metal for your home projects. United lets me look thru the yard and that saves me $ money.
