Good place to sell your scrap metals. Honest and true

Not sure what all the hate is about, unless the scale's location has changed in the last couple of years, the read out on the scale is obvious. I wrote down what my truck weighed before and after I unloaded, it matched what was written on the receipt that I took to the cashier. I don't know why the appearance of a scrap yard's employees factors into these reviews at all. I got prompt and curt but courteous service.

You be the judge. I took four passenger car front rotors and four rear rotors. As well as two 5000 btu air conditioners. They told me that all weighed 37 lbs. I just wanted to leave my scrap there and go. The guy there said " don't do that you'll get enough maney to get the kids some ice cream cones" so i waited got a ticket went to cash out. I got i whopping $4.70 ice cream cones don't cost $1 anymore. All I'm saying is be honest about what you do and maybe you won't get of these negative reviews. And please don't email or answer this review with you sorry about my bad experience or anything like that. BE HONEST!!!

Great scrap yard. I was in and out no problem at all, and staff was competent and friendly. Would recommend to anyone in Berks county.

You got sh#t and they turn it into cash. Make sure you know the prices of whatever you're recycling that day. I've been going here for as long as I can remember. My dad always took me in with cans and other scrap. It's a scrapyard, not a beauty shop. It is not a retail store that needs to be worried about aesthetics. Got scrap metal? Want cash? Take it here. They have an inside scale that is older than me. The have an outside scale. Close commute for those in and around Reading. Can't see the inside scale, just look. They aren't hiding much. Maybe a body or two. Don't be scared of men working. I know that is hard for some people that don't understand work.Want metal for projects? Go to Glicks. Laurel street has never given me a problem regardless of the interior they've been a part of the city for over 50 years.

1st time here, guy in office was fine, though it was full of cigarette smoke. Guy in yard however made my scrap run his problem, wouldnt point me where to go, had an issue when i tried to go to the obvious pile. Finally just left for the scale after dropping one thing. He came out to make a stupid comment and shrugged me off when i said i would take the remaining scrap somewhere else. I came here cause my normal yard (pollok) was closed. So take your business to pollok during business hours cause they are actually friendly and there to treat well

I just love the guys that work there.. They remember me. And I have not been there in a while 😁🎃

There on there game . Been there forever , cash on all kinds of metal .just watch n be aware there are sharp objects in street .People drop n leave it

This is a very busy place always getting hammered metals are coming in left and right only great scrap yard in the city in fact the scrap yard takes just about anything just about

Terrible!!! Brought 630 pounds of metal and got $12.00. Guy in yard was rude and ignorant
