My husband went to get a fuse box and was told a COMPLETELY different price than what is posted on their own website (see picture - $29.47) They tried to charge him $120. Are the workers pocketing the difference?

Open app Your location Lqk Auto Parts 966 W Mitchell Rd, Memphis, TN 38109 Car repair and maintenance service DEWAYNE BATEMAN 499 points 19 minutes ago Disappointed BigTime .... $3 to get in, and the new prices are ridiculous, you might as well buy it new with these add on prices when you get to the counter - register .... My bill was extremely high, like $235 for a hood, hood bracket support tier, two hood shocks and two bumper brackets so I decided to leave the brackets and hood shocks off of my bill ... My bill was still $133 for a hood and a hood support tier, the items are below in the photo .... And pulled my own parts off of the car ... Never again, I won't be back here no more ✌🏾

Not the cheapest yard in Memphis, but there's actually some good parts left so it is what it is. Picked up a hood for $80 and a bumper cover for $60. Prices seemed fair.

They don’t refund and charged me way to much for a part that didn’t work that I took back 2times now I have to junk my car because life is just so frustrating and to hard right now I’ll take the city bus from now on it’s just sad when you need things the most for a good reasonable price and they are happy to charge you but it’s sad you can’t get a refund for buying something that doesn’t work 🤦🏾♀️
- TTaDeO RaFaeL
the staff is not friendly at all. The prices are the same as a new and original part. everything very expensive. 3 times the price than in any yonkee.
- LLarry McMullen
I have always been very satisfied going here but I returned last week and inquired about their prices for a used steel wheel and tire and was totally disappointed. They have more than doubled the prices they charged last year,I never entered the yard.

I went to retrieve a stolen vehicle sold to them by the next day when I came to pick up vehicle it was destroyed by them and dropped outside there business on the ground worst experience in finding something stolen and having it returned
- DDianna Briwder
It’s a horrible place to work and they have horrible parts with overrated prices on vehicles they may or may not have in stock.
- JJS
This place is a joke. The prices are more than I can buy at the parts store. Save the trip - check elsewhere.
- BBryce Stclair
Unfortunately this company as no direct way to contact their locations (phone or email). I live 4hrs away from this location thats website is not up to date currently and cant verify they have a vehicle in inventory. I understand they are first come first serve on parts but to not be able to know if a vehicle is in inventory or not seems unreasonable when they have on phone support ONLY for selling your car.

This is a place I hate to go to but I'm there multiple times a week. If they got what you looking for go. Be careful they stack that cars horribly (if you even need to peek your head under to look sure up the frame with some wheels) and charge a crazy warranty free if you forget to tell them you don't want it. Most of the staff is cool, it's one of those is what it is places. A management change happened and they now have to track on free for everything they can
- RReid Linksvayer
Do you like paying double or triple for things, mud, and frosty customer service? If you find a part that isn't on their inventory, they will just try to charge you for some other random thing. A few plastic speaker covers were going to be $109, never mind the same parts are $3 each anywhere else. I regret going here.

Forcing a non-optional “guarantee” on top of already higher prices than any other self service yard in the entire Southeast should be a criminal offense. Polite staff, but I believe upper management is on crack. Will never return. One year later….. These people have found a way to charge even more for their nonsense warranty and core add-ons. Pretty sure it’s officially now cheaper to order from LKQ full service on eBay. I rarely wish bad things on anyone. This company deserves to fail. They are only gouging you; stop giving them your business. Saying this as someone who visits hundreds of yards across the southeast annually. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO GO IF YOU CAN AVOID IT

The ladies at the window weren't too friendly. They seemed to hate their jobs. The security officer was really nice. The guy who towed my vehicle is was nice and speedy. And the guy who took care of my paperwork was cool. They did pau me what was quoted to me over the phone.
- TTheEgroove
I went here to purchase some radiator support bushings and they wanted to charge me $26 for what I had. The prices they charge people are outrageously high. I declined the purchase and got what I need in better shape for way less than what this guy was asking. I won't be going back to this place for anything. You pay your $2 to get in and do the work for what you need then they will try to rip you off before you get back to your car. Unbelievable!
- SSamuel Leppien (OverHeatedGaming)
Great yard with several parts. Customer service is poor. And the prices are outrageous. Honesty just take a back pack because they don’t deserve your money besides the 2$ admission fee. They tried to charge me 50 bucks for a busted corroded throttle body.
- SShayne Nelson
Clear, nice people, sunday on a labor day weekend, I was one of the last customers out, end of day and still showing every courtesy. Yes they were open and the web site was close to accurate, with pics and location of the vehicles.
- MMr.K. Lewis
❌️TRIED TO charge me $130 for a for a USED TIRE when website clearly states they are $38. Been referring people here for 15+year.Also they add an EXTRA fee to your cost that funds the employees I've was informed from inside source #THE SCAM IS OVER🚫
- JJoe P
They seem to have a large selection of vehicles and it's fairly well organized. Staff were polite and helpful when in need of information. I give this 1 star today because of poor inventory management. Why you ask? Well, if you're looking for something in particular and the website says it's in stock.... then you drive all the out there for someone to tell you that it was crushed months ago..... yeah. The check out clerk was nice enough to tell me they rarely take off old vehicles from the website. And for those of you who think "You should have called first!"... well I did. The guy on the phone told me they were all on the lot. So if you're looking for parts beware! You might be looking forever here.

Great place to find parts..! I had been to 3 other auto salvage yards looking for a part for my 1986 car. I saw at LKQ's online inventory that they had a similar car and went there to search for myself. The cashier at the entrance greeted me and helped me locate the car on the lot. I went out there to the location and "behold"... I found it! LKQ Memphis was very clean, organized and a pleasure to do business with. I will make this my FIRST place to go next time I need used auto parts at great prices. THANK YOU to the nice lady that was the cashier also.
- DDavid Rich
The female working at the register today had a nasty attitude. The other female marking the products had a nasty attitude. Was talking crazy to the other customers.Sad to get treated like this !!
- CChikin Nippls710
Very good selection of cars to chose from. My biggest issue was the way the employees looked at me. At least try to pretend you've seen a woman working on a car before. Prices are dang good though. Just show more common decency and less gender stereotypes..
- TTommy Marise
It’s a junkyard. Yard employees seem willing enough to point you in the right general direction. They charge you to get in and it doesn’t go against your purchase. It’s in a terrible neighborhood and they ask you to go completely unarmed, so if you follow the law maybe buy elsewhere.

Will NOT be back to spend my money with these people anymore. After today I honestly could care less to give them my business ever again! Guy charges me for a dash pad when I purchased a bezel and when I ask him why? he says that's to cheap to charge me bezel price and that a new bezel is expensive. I DID NOT COME OUT HERE IN THE MUD TO PULL A USED PART LOOKING FOR A BRAND-NEW PART!!! So he felt that he would charge me for something of more value. I did NOT buy a dash pad so why am I being charged for one. If your computer says it's one price who made it ok to ignore that and charge whatever price he felt it's worth. Since when do I become different than all the other customers who purchase bezel at bezel price? My receipt showed dash pad, which is not what I purchased. I confront them about it and it turns him into rage?? Sorry buddy your customer skills are horrible and my company will bot be back to spend money with you guys! Yal's loss not ours😉
- CCorey Woods
Don't come to this place, hidden fees. They tell you one price before you take the part off, when it's time to pay the price is higher. They add core charges on top of price increase for used parts. If I could have choose no stars in stead of one I would have. Bad business don't waste your time with these people
- LLarry Andrews
Worst place ever to buy used parts. How can you charge 200 more for a part than every other yard in the city. I heard the stories a d now I see for myself and terrible customer service at checkout
- iitz1 AV
Pretty straight forward. $2 admission staff is knowledgeable about the yard
- RRichard Edgerton
Their customer service over the phone is terrible and sends you to a national call center that can't provide you with any needed information on the vehicle in question. For example I was trying to call an LKQ that is five hours away from me regarding a major component of the vehicle. The vehicle picture shows the part there when the vehicle came in but since the vehicle has been there for over a month that major component may or not be there. All I needed was to find out if the component was there before I drove five hours one way in a f350. I didn't want to waste fuel expense, a whole day, and take off work for something an employee could verify. Does the car still have the engine in it or transmission should be information when traveling a long distance customer service can provide. Basic info! This just turns me away from wanting to ever buy from LKQ.

CROOKS! If YOU do not say I DONT WANT A WARRANTY these Crooks will charge you $10 for every item you buy. Bought a fender from these CROOKS FOR $55 only to find it at CERTIFIT for $35. I was in these CROOKS REWARD PROGRAM and they got rid out it without notice. I was Accused of trying to steal a hubcap after I just spent $400 I returned everything I would never go back there stay away people

Quick and easy. Needed a driver door window cause there was a burglary on riverport rd. Broke into 28 cars. And I had my window fixed in less than an hour. Thanks LKQ.
