Had an awesome experience my first time going there brought some scrap n and walked out with a truck bed toolbox at the same time although the tool box was a lil to big for my truck so I gave it to my dad for his truck n bought a new one for my truck that actually fits I'm happy with the service there and was treated like family and jokes around with the guys like family do thanks Sam and the crow I'll get to know the names better as I get to know everyone better

Sam Winer is a scrap yard. There are several other scrap yards in Elkhart. They are newer and may appear cleaner, whereas Winers looks like the metallic equivalent of a slaughterhouse, with piles of various shapes and sizes of metallic offal. But Winers is honest, full of friendly workers. Female friends have remarked how polite the staff were to them. I have brought scrap there to sell, and have bought steel from them for my hobbies. They are wonderful to deal with and a credit to the local community. Go to Sam Winer, you won't regret it, unless you were already in a bad mood, then it's all on you.
