Been here a few times now, 3 to be exact and everytime I have been pleased with the staff and the operation. Sometimes there is a line to get in and they work through it pretty quick. You'll never be waiting long or in the elements. The yard has a good inventory system that is accurate and you can use the kiosks inside to print out a list of what you're looking for on both vehicles and parts. Additionally, you can use their website and look at the same inventory as well as get alerts. I love alerts! While you're there on the Internet, be sure to sign up for their free VIP program to get coupons and to save on $1 your entry fee (it's normally $3 to get in) as well as get store credit on things you buy. Aaaaand, they save all your receipts online too! I hate looking for those things when returning cores. Oh, and it seems most cores can be returned in 30 days as opposed to some yards which have 3-7 days. Love it here! I just wish they weren't an hour away! If you've been on the edge on if going to a pick yard is a do-able thing for you, just go. You'll usually find most of what you're looking at and can quit doing the eBay parts shop. 5/5 stars, will be back!

Good place to find what you’re looking for

great self-service yard. one of the best in Houston. prices are great, selection is great, and high quality. be sure to check their website to see what vehicles are available. also note the date it was dropped on the yard. the longer it's been there, the more likely it will be picked clean.

I was selling my Dodge Charger and scheduled a pickup with these guys. The driver (Anthony) called me 30 minutes ahead and also notified me 5 minutes before his arrival. The process was quick and easy. The driver was also very professional. I'd highly recommend using their services!

I recently went with my husband to look for a part for my car , I saw a girl smoking outside like how is that presentable? As a customer I would want to feel comfortable in an open environment. Overall I would give this place a 1.

Great survice well at first. I'm all apart here on a Saturday and it was not. The right part. I wrong it back for a refund, and bye. They just gave me $10 cash and told me the rest was in store credit. So I looked to see if they had my part, they do not have my board, they did not have my vehicle. And stock, so I ask them, is there any way I can get a full refund so I can actually get the right part for my undrivable vehicle? They said there's no way they can give me a refund so they have a perfectly good part. That I took off a vehicle and my $110 for the part so they can resell the part. And make double the money. Dip, all sounds a little crooked. To me. And as far as other post go, the vehicle inventory in parts, inventory is very sparse. The vehicles that are here. I've been gone through destroyed, and there's sinkholes. Then you can lose a body in It's just, it was great. It's just gone way downhill

With all these ridiculous prices for car parts every where I decided to go to the junk yard for some parts. This was the best decision I ever made! It's just like Pick-A-Part but a little more organized on the yard. They have a V. I. P. program that saves you a little money gain points and track your receipts. It cost $3 to get in per person and of course bring your own tools. I advise you to bring something to carry your parts unless its avery small item because it's long walk back to the building. They have a cart you can use to haul your parts around (gets heavy quick) that you pull off. When you leave out the building to access the the junk yard there's a map on the right hand side on the corner that was a little helpful area wise. The best to do is when you first come in the building there are computers where you can search for the vehicle your looking for. It will tell you what lane the car is located on. You can print the info but the lane won't be on the print! So I just took a pic with my phone and use that as a guide. They have signs for the rows but part of the signs are missing***Note** (look on the wrecked cars and there will be numbers on the cars wich is the row your on) This will save you a lot of time and frustration! The only thing I didn't like is that after you pulled your parts and head back to the building is to be greeted with a long checkout line outside in the heat 🥵. Hopefully it's not not raining! Last but not least the prices are decent and saved me a ton money on parts! Don't get caught up buying all those new parts!

I just go here with my boyfriend when he needs something, usually checks online first to see what he might find. All the prices are on their website and I'd recommend you look beforehand just because he's been charged the wrong part before (it was more expensive)
- EEduardo Espinoza
They charge you a $3+ fee Just to go in, it does not count towards what you would be buying. They don’t tell you what parts are available or what shape they are in. They want you to go in so they can get that small transaction from you. I guess this is just business they gotta find a way to scam people. By the way, I was looking for a Cavalier tail light, which was overpriced plus adding the fee on top.

Decent place but one worker was rude. I tried looking for an early 2000s Silverado but they categorized tahoes as Silverado so there was only one Silverado instead of 4 like they said.
- JJose Flores
Great place. And even greater prices. Good customer service too.

What happened here? UP&P used to be my go-to place. Great selection, pretty good turn around of fresh vehicles, organized lot and regular "discount" days with prices 25-50% off from from regular, usually around holidays. Not any more sInce the start of 2023. Vehicle selection is worse for me (very few 4Runners, Lexus, BMW E38 or classic Mercedes that I like). Vehicles seem to be staying longer on the lot and so are more picked-over. The lot is less organized. Even now, ya'll have a Camry Hybrid listed in Row 2 that is lost in space. Finally, your discounts are, well, just plain dumb. You haven't had a substantive discount since before Christmas, well except for an "A/C parts discount" in February (the middle of winter). Who was the marketing genius that figured that one out? What's next "Heating parts discount" in August? My theory is that this is all due to cost saving initiatives. Gotcha. Just keep in mind if people, like me, stop coming to your location, your cost savings will be moot. Just a thought. ********************************************************* Allright now, this is a FU review a year later. There are some things that I like about UP&P like their $2 VIP admission, generally reasonable pricing and NO extra charges for an optional "warranty" which their competition adds automatically. Overall the atmosphere at UP&P is friendlier with no intrusive searches of toolboxes such as the other place that starts with "L" and ends with "Q". VIP members finally get email coupons every month (yay!) and there was even a recent "50% off" day which are all good steps in the right direction. Selection is still fairly meh, in my opinion, and their yard is a MESS with heavy equipment tracks, deep muddy puddles with standing water everywhere and piles of trash. I would suggest that the yard be tidied up and graded ASAP. Overall a solid B- grade.

- rrose smith
Great option to save on parts! Large selection and Kayla, Samantha, and all employees are super helpful!!
- ZZilvia
Repetitive and highly annoying automated phone system that just keeps taking me in circles. Impossible to speak to a human. Best way to get people to shop elsewhere.
- NNakoyia Smith
Nice and clean. People are customer friendly. Plus the parts are cheaper and the admission is lower.
