I went to visit my daughter on the 23rd of December and was to spend Christmas day with my family at her residence at The Parks at Fig Gardens Complex in Fresno California when I notice on that particular day, Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas a Black Tow Truck with a sign on it West Coast Towing Company posted on it. The driver was a Caucasian young man between his late twenties and early thirties driving around the apartment complex individuals parking stalls and I did address to him that what he was doing is a violation of the law and he said his company is contracted with the apartment complex and he has the right to tow vehicles by the way he was literally looking at vehicles license plates numbers even while they were parked in their stalls and game a reason he had a legal right to do this under the law which is a violation to all residents and that should be addressed to the management at the apartment complex. Apparently they're not protecting individuals rights, so I am letting you know out there be aware of your vehicles because you don't know what excuses that Towing company may come up with when you have your vehicle tow away. That was my observation and that's what I observed that day. He said under the law he has the right to do this by the way it was at night, while others were celebrating Christmas you know the holiday with their loved ones somehow the movie Scrooged came out or the Grinch who spoiled Christmas.. that's how I felt, it was opportunities trying to make more money at the expense of others.. By the way most individuals that live over there are not made of money that is majority of them I'm not saying all I'm saying majority and that company knows that. So what they're charging Towing fees, storage fees, among others and they know that a lot of individuals cannot afford to get their vehicles out that is an opportunist taking advantage of individuals that is what this company is about and it should be reported to better Business bureau what other legal authorities to investigate them and how they operate. If that tow truck wasn't running around at night how the hell did I see him! He had a reddish tone hair. So now anyone who reads this now know what this company is about, how they operate, how they get their money, and individuals they target on top of it on top of it and those who contract with them. They to me is absolutely abusing their authority feeling they are entitled to do what they do. So now you are all aware of it set up your own cameras you can get them pretty cheap and have it connected with your phone so you are able to see what actually transpired that way they can't claim their innocence and you're able to protect yourself and hold them into court make them accountable for their actions.

Car was towed Sunday, February 15th at 8:40PM, stayed in the tow yard on Monday February 16th (President's Day), and picked up at 8:41AM this morning, February 17th, after I arrived early, waited outside until 8:30AM (when the business is supposed to open). No one was there so I called. The man who answered the phone said he would be right there. About 5 or so minutes later, he drove up in his nice, shiny, white BMW. We entered the building and was able to pick up my car, $710 later, at 8:41AM. I was charged a full 3 days when my car was at the tow yard for less than 36 hours!! HOW IS THIS LEGAL?!?!?! Highway robbery. I will be filing to take them to small claims because this is not right and their prices are hidden. California law requires companies to disclose fees, and under AB 2210, but with West Coast Towing, you only get an itemized receipt once you pay to get your car out. CROOKS.

These guys are absolute scum. Showed up in under 30 minutes to tow a car they knew was out of pure revenge, not a legit job. Then when I called, the guy on the phone was nothing but attitude from the jump wouldn’t give me a single name, wouldn’t get a manager, and treated me like garbage for asking basic info to file on my police report very hostile . Zero professionalism, zero integrity. They’ll happily do dirty work and hide behind it. Do not use West Coast Towing, ever I’m telling yall BEWARE!
