Great place for pick-up. Trucker's, once you enter the yard, stay in the far right lane and curves to their scale. Check-in at the guard shack (exit your truck on the scale), give information on pick-up. Once you enter they will have a black portable ramp near a couple of their tents on the East side of their yard but for my pick-up, I was being loaded on their red ramp which is on the North side of the yard when you drive past the black ramp on your left, follow the road around the corner and you will see the red ramp on your left side. Forklift driver will guide you back to the ramp to raise/lower it. Once finished, keep your trailer doors open and drive forward and it'll loop back to the entrance road to go back onto the same scale to get your weight. The guard shack at the top upper left corner will display your weight and when you know your weight, you will enter the yard again but make a U-Turn just before the stop sign onto their left scale to obtain your BOL.

I’m trying to be nice the poor woman inside all by yourself doing all the paperwork does not deserve any of this but I gotta tell you it’s the worst run recycling center I have ever seen three lazy workers. Don’t even help you take the stuff out of the car to fill up the buckets, old-fashioned scale weight. They did less than six cars in an hour, unloading cans and bottles. They take all the trucks before they take the other customers after waiting over an hour to get my recycling done I was told I have to wait for the truck which was a large recycling truck truck with bales of cardboard and that after that truck we would have to take a 15 minute break, which would put me back even farther they didn’t go to work for more than an hour. They took a lunch from 12 to one which is fine but took a break at 2 o’clock for 15 minutes who does that now they have even shorter hours. They don’t require that the people have their stuff already sorted. I’ve been there once before and they had 15 people in line and actually closed the facility. Turned the 15 people back because they ran out of time because they are so slow about doing their work I’m going to actually bother to call and ask for who’s ever in charge of this facility to come and try to do recycling run with me because with the exception of the woman that’s doing all the work in the office all of them should be fired. They don’t take any care of the facility. They don’t weed it they don’t water it. It’s just an embarrassment. I’m even gonna talk to the mayor of Richmond now they want to increase the garbage rates. They had a meeting behind closed doors with other mayors that are on their secret board before they even have a public meeting to try justify overcharging, their customers go to Berkeley you’re in and out. It’s a much nicer place. The people are happy. They have a job they treat you with respect night and day difference.

These guys are so lazy. It took them an hour to do three cars. And now they're on lunch for an hour. I'm the last one, I watched as they wasted the last 15 minutes not even weighing the cans. Instead they walked around and went to the bathroom all before their hour long lunch with two 15 minute breaks? They have better hours than any union and they do nothing for their work. If I could give a Zero I would. I've been here multiple times over the years and NOTHING has changed for the better. If someone has been waiting for over an hour in a SHORT line and they still take their full breaks either means there's no oversight to their work or they're understaffed. But there's atleast two guys with no pep in their steps. Who obviously work at their own time and schedule.
