This was my second experience with this company, and unfortunately both have been very negative. I was in an accident and needed a tow immediately. I called at about 1:45 p.m. for a flatbed tow, but when they arrived at 2:24 p.m., the truck already had another vehicle on it. They tried to do a wheel-lift tow instead—something they did to me previously that caused major damage (brakes, bearings, etc.), which turned into a very costly repair. I called back specifically requesting a flatbed tow, but they didn’t show up again until 4:40 p.m.—nearly three hours later. When the driver, Rudy G., finally arrived, he said he couldn’t tow the car to a house, only to their storage yard (which means extra $$$) or a body shop. My mechanic works out of his home shop, so this was completely unacceptable. It felt like a scam designed to force customers into spending more money. I ended up having to call AAA and complain just to get my vehicle towed to my personal mechanic. On top of all this, the driver was unprofessional and not courteous. Based on both of my experiences, I cannot recommend Wind and Sea Towing Company.

Horrible experience. I now see a pattern in these reviews. Driver came for roadside assistance through AAA and told me that the tow was not covered by AAA and had to be towed to their lot. I was not given the option to have the car towed to my house around the corner unless I paid $680 on the spot. I was told that insurance had to come deem the car drivable. Several days pass and now storage fees have accumulated. Confirmed with AAA who looked up my policy limitations and coverages that unless a second person and truck were needed, this would be covered per AAA policy. Wind and Sea who previously said the car was not able to be towed due to it being undrivable just allowed the car to be DRIVEN off the lot and taken home...after paying over $1,000. When the car was picked up, we were told that only cash was accepted, which per Wind and Sea website, is not accurate. They have not provided documentation in writing of why they deemed the car undrivable as requested and have not provided pictures as requested. We have dash cam footage of the singular driver and truck towing the car as well as the driver telling us that it's not covered by AAA. When speaking with AAA customer service, they were able to see NO documentation from the towing company including pictures which is required per their policy and no written documentation of why the car was not covered. When I called to request the name of the driver, I was told immediately that the information was confidential, placed on hold, then told the driver's name was "Ryan."

WARNING: Damaged my vehicle or video and avoided any contact after the incident I am writing this review because Wind and Sea completely ignored my attempts to resolve a damage claim having to escalate the matter to have AAA mediate on my behalf During a tow on 11/29/25, the driver improperly positioned the winch chain, causing it to crush and distort the front lower bumper valence of my Chevrolet Avalanche as it was being pulled onto the flatbed, I have clear video footage of the incident occurring, showing the chain under tension directly damaging the vehicle's bodywork. I attempted to reach out multiple times to provide the video evidence and repair estimates, but the company was completely unresponsive. It is incredibly disappointing that a professional service would cause documented damage or even return a phone call after leverage attempts in contacting them. I would have prefered to settle this professionally, but their lack of response forced me to escalate this further through AAA since they subcontracted the service and they had to also tried several attempts to contact them. AAA eventually sent me a check for the damage after having to submit all the evidence along with the estimate I STRONGLY advise others to look elsewhere if vou value your vehicle's safety and want a company that stands behind their work.
