Last time, I had two bags for recycling but they made me wait until another person emptied bag after bag. They could have taken care of my recyclables faster while the other person did theirs, but wouldn't because the other person had arrived first. Today, they were at lunch and wouldn't reopen for another half hour. They could at least post their lunch hours on the app instead of telling app users they are "open" and expect them to wait after the fact. Went instead to another center a few blocks father and was done in about 5 minutes.

UPDATE: 3rd time at 3 pm, not busy, friendly, they let you ask price per pound and how much your stuff weighs. The white BIO-K probiotics plastic was bottle HDPE #2. They paid me 5-cents for one piece. *** HONEST *** Friendly staff. One person speaks English. You are not rushed to unload your recyclables. I watched the weights and told them why. I was cheated before somewhere else. They were sympathetic and said it’s easy to get ripped off. I got the correct amount of money for my cans and plastic. I returned the next day with 35 pounds of glass and was paid the posted price. The BRUTE gray trash cans are 6 pounds tare weight. It is behind the Vons, enter off Duarte. Plenty of parking. Not busy between 2-3:30 pm weekdays.

These guys are fast and efficient. You sort your recyclables and then they also sort to make sure there aren’t mixed items. No tin cans btw. I’ve never waited longer than 10 minutes even when there was a long cue.
