I cannot say enough good things about this place. I am low income at the moment, and these folks have always been so honest, and above board about everything. Once my car died while getting air here, as I was leaving to do errands. I had no choice but to leave it to be repaired. I stressed all weekend long about how much it might cost. But, instead, the car started right up again. They could've done some unnecessary repair, and charged me as bunch of money, and, honestly, I would've never known the difference. A lot of places would. BUT, they didn't!!! They told me what happened, and I didn't have to spend unnecessary money that a more dishonest place would've surely found some shady reason to charge me. Another time, I was having battery problems, I've replaced the battery, but beyond that, I can't afford to do more. They taught me how to disconnect the battery to make the car not die between driving. Situations like this, are why I love living in a small town like Crestline, where good folks get to know one another, care about each other, folks are kind to one another, and you know that everyone is doing the best they can. There's no judgement here. This place is everything good about small businesses, and none of the bad baloney that you deal with when dealing with corporate greed and corporate franchises. I would tell everyone to go here, and it's where I take any car problem I have, big or small. Honesty, wisdom and skills provided by kind folks doing their best to run a good small business establishment are a priceless thing nowadays. This place is all those.

I'm leaving this review on behalf of my husband - His first car was totaled due to rodent damage and a new car was luckily covered by insurance. BUT what we weren't expecting was to have that new car ALSO be severely damaged by rodents in just under 1 month!!! In the 3 years of us living on the mountain, we have never experienced this... 2 cars, 2 separate rodent damages - Wild! Frantically, we called around to see if any local shops could help us and of course, we were very concerned it was going to cost us a lot of money since our insurance wouldn't cover this... again. Enter Mountain Auto Service! AAA towed the car to them, and they helped us out so much. They were able to fix the car within a few days, and well within our budget - We were thrilled! They were communicative, and went above and beyond to go down the hill to try and find us some rodent deterrent that might help (Thank you Andy!). We are so grateful for them, they really put us at ease during this very stressful experience.

After having my truck butchered by another shop MASTER AUTOMOTIVE. Ryan and Mark located and fixed multiple problems caused by the previous shop. Roxanne is a bit spicy but also very pleasant to deal with. Thanks all for helping me with tis disaster and getting my truck back on the road.
