Bruce is a bad guy. He sold and installed two motors for me that he "rebuilt" onsite for two Vanagons that I owned. He completely lied. Neither was rebuilt. One had a knock immediately. He tried to tell me that it would go away after about an hour of driving. Guess what? It didn't. It needed to be rebuilt again... which he dragged out for many months. The second had a leak within a week. He's a disaster. Just go walk around his property, his shop, and his office and you'll see what a mess he is. He wouldn't return calls and is a horrible person and mechanic. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!

I trust this place implicitly for all repairs on my Volkswagen Vanagon. These are vehicles that require specialists and you cannot find a better specialist then Tassi. On top of that they are very reasonable and their pricing and have an incredible depth of knowledge on Volkswagen.

We had Bruce put a rebuilt engine in our 74 Beetle. Service was great, he did a great job explaining what was done and helped my son and I diagnose and fix some other issues on our own. Bruce and team have been great about doing some minor adjustments while the engine is breaking in. I took him and his staff a gift for service over and above what I am accustomed to!
