It's official. Some college grad kid has found out how to destroy this company. As of today, I am calling a central dispatch number that routes my call to any available branch person, that I have no established repor with. I deal with the El Cajon branch, but my call goes elsewhere. I asked to speak to Branon, and the guy says he'll transfer me to Brenda. It took me 4 phone calls to get through to El Cajon. Twice I was transferred, then told my call could not be completed as dialed. What moron made this decision to centralize the phones? The owner's nephew, or some salesman? Either way, big mistake. As a business owner of 31 years, I've seen this garbage before, and it's as simple as someone being convinced this is a good idea, then wondering why sales numbers drop. You've gone from great, to crappy with this one stupid move. Edit: I believe Parts Authority won't make it another year in business. Prices are average, on par with Autozone. And as of late Autozone has been cheaper. Plus, they won't deliver to Lakeside from El Cajon, as I don't do enough volume. Well, 1-800-RADIATOR delivers free from National City to Lakeside. Hope I'm wrong about them going under, but the signs are there.
