We purchased a bumper for an Impreza from B&HAuto Parts, and they assured us it was in insurance-grade, great condition. When we arrived, the part was quickly loaded into our vehicle without giving us a proper chance to inspect it. Once back at the shop, we immediately noticed the bumper was broken and damaged. We reached out right away, but they refused to offer a refund or exchange, even though the part was clearly not in the condition they claimed. This was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. If you’re buying from B&H Auto Parts, make sure you fully inspect your parts before they load anything — we definitely wouldn’t recommend them based on our experience.

A Very Dishonest Company We drove from San Diego to purchase a used engine from B&H after being told it had approximately 60,000 miles. The engine was not ready on the scheduled day, so the company delivered it the following day. Once the engine was removed and inspected by our mechanic, corrosion was found on two bolts along with clear signs of an oil leak. Due to these issues, the engine was deemed unsuitable for use. We immediately contacted B&H and were informed that the engine was covered under a three-month warranty and could be returned for a refund. When we returned to the shop, a representative then stated that the engine core needed to be returned within ten days. This requirement was never clearly explained at the time of purchase or during our prior communication regarding the return. We were also not informed how the core requirement related to the condition of the engine or why it would affect our warranty, especially considering the engine itself was defective. We requested the original VIN number and documentation verifying the actual mileage of the engine—information that any purchaser is entitled to receive. Our request was ignored and ultimately denied. As a result, I am now left with an unusable engine and a financial loss of $2,750, in addition to the money paid to my mechanic for labor that was wasted due to the engine’s condition. This experience reflects a lack of transparency, poor communication, and extremely unprofessional business practices. The first photo shows the engine with visible corrosion. Scammer Alert! I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I purchased a Prius hybrid battery for $850, but after checking it, I found that the battery was already failing. I went back the very next day to exchange it for another one, but they told me they had no replacements in stock. Instead of giving me a full $850 store credit, they charged a $255 restocking fee and only gave me $595 in credit. I don't understand why I should lose money tor receiving a detective part, especially when they were unable to provide a working replacement the next day. This felt very unfair and poor customer service. I would recommend others to be cautious when purchasing from this business. Please see picture uploaded for proof.
