Never been so disappointed. Took my girlfriend to dinner on 03-07-26 to the Seven Sisters at Black Oak Casino. The service was great, the food was a very different experience. We both had the filet mignon, 6 oz. lobster tail, I ordered mine Blue, it came out medium rare+, the lobster was way overcooked. My girlfriend asked for medium rare and got medium+, lobster was rubber. At $76 per plate we would expect to get it cooked the way we wanted it. The only thing I can say about the food is the dog enjoyed it. The best part of the meal was the green salad and bread. When you drop $250 for a night out for dinner you expect a good dinner. On a scale of 1-10 I give Seven Sisters a -5. Never again. You will get a much better dinner at some chain restaurant like Black Bear or that other one.

Great food and service at the Black Oak Cafe. Convenient free valet and I didn't have to wait that long each time I requested my car, even at 5am. Had the Luxury Suite King and the bed was very comfortable I slept like a baby. Entire suite was immaculate and I enjoyed the dual showerheads, very relaxing. Check- in was fast and easy and the hotel clerks were friendly. Wish I could remember all the names of every staff member who made my stay a pleasant experience (from the valet to the hotel clerks to the players club and also the cafe waitresses and cashiers at the gift shop). I stayed for 2 nights and I'm definitely coming back. Thank you! -Sofia

Black Oak Casino is one of my favorite casinos to visit in the Central Valley, and the mountain views alone make it worth the trip. I really enjoy the location up in the hills—it’s a refreshing change from the usual casino atmosphere. Over the years, they’ve made many upgrades to attract a younger crowd and to be more family-friendly, which I truly appreciate. What I like most is that the casino feels open and relaxed—it doesn’t feel like you’re constantly being watched. The layout is well designed, and even though I’m not always the luckiest here, I still enjoy coming for the overall experience and the great amenities. I also love going upstairs to take in the view and enjoy a quick break. The bowling alley, swimming pools, and sports center are great additions and show how much they’ve invested over the years. Great job, Black Oak Casino—keep it up!
