Driving through East LA near the I-5 during rush hour, my car suddenly started overheating and smoke started coming from under the hood before the engine finally shut down. Driver walked over calmly, checked under the hood for a minute, then explained that towing it to a mechanic was probably safer than trying to restart it again. He even reminded me to grab my backpack and charger from the backseat before loading the car up because my mind was completely scattered by that point. Better experience than dealing with my insurance roadside assistance line. Overall the towing service made a rough afternoon easier to handle.

They came to the rescue and had me fixed up in no time flat. Honestly some of the best people around. My dead battery hit near Boyle Heights after I stopped for food and sat in the car too long with the AC running waiting for traffic on the 5 to calm down. By the time I tried starting it again and heard nothing but clicking, I was honestly just frustrated and ready to get home. Called Bright Brand Roadside Assistance expecting a long wait because east LA traffic was still packed, but the driver showed up in about 25–30 minutes. Really chill guy too he walked up smiling and said, “LA traffic drains batteries faster than people think.” He jumped the car quickly, checked the battery afterward to make sure I wouldn’t get stranded again, and explained everything clearly without making me feel clueless. Pricing felt fair honestly, and by the end of it I was mostly just relieved to finally get back on the road.
