I cannot say enough good things about this repair shop and, especially, Francisco. My vehicle was originally stuck at the dealership service center with an open invoice that had to be paid before they would release it. When Francisco reviewed the invoice, he immediately spotted erroneous charges and argued on my behalf to have them corrected - without me even asking. I showed his email to several friends, and even they were shocked by how thorough and professional he was in pushing back. That alone earned my trust. Francisco personally picked up my vehicle, coordinated everything seamlessly, and had an entirely new engine installed within a week - which is incredible considering the scope of the work. To make matters even better, he later removed a charge from my estimate because the actual cost to him was less. Who does that? That level of honesty is rare. From start to finish, this shop demonstrated integrity, efficiency, and genuine customer advocacy. I never felt taken advantage of, rushed, or kept in the dark. Francisco treated my car - and my money - as if they were his own. If you’re looking for a shop that is skilled, ethical, fast, and truly stands up for their customers, this is it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and I will absolutely return for future work.

I'm from Los Angeles, and I came to San Diego to look at a Mazda I was interested in purchasing. I went here to get a pre-purchase inspection. I was more than happy with the through job they did. They provided me with a full report and pictures of the detailed inspection! They were super helpful and explained everything and provided me with informative recommendations. Came for smog and greeted by a very rude young man, probably aged 20-25, with long curly hair. I walked in and he did not greet me and glanced at me blankly until I said I needed a smog check. I told him I left my car engine on for the smog check, and he asked me “why?” and “Who told you to do that?” as if I am crazy. He then told me the wait would be three hours, so I walked away to get picked up but decided after about five minutes (after calling another place I realized a 3 hour wait is not normal) to just go somewhere else. I came back in and found my car still on, pulled in and being checked if it’s ready. So I wasn’t crazy for leaving it on? Then I went back in and said I’ll go somewhere else. Again he was very blank and condescending. He was the only one there and had zero customer service skills, just left me feeling like an idiot. Not everyone knows about cars, in fact most people don’t! Be kind.
