Address:14718 Cleveland St, Spring Lake, MI (Zipcode: 49451)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedTLDR: advertised/sold a BROKEN part claiming "Low miles", "grade A" and "tested". Would have rated 0 if I could. Got a transmission from them and paid someone else to install; only to find out the part doesn't work. Now I have to pay for labor AGAIN to have the broken one removed and a THIRD put in because they sold a DEFECTIVE part. Almost 3k in labor for nothing. B E W A R E. Edit for owners response: how do yall offer warranties on broken parts that just dont work period? And even if the part WAS working, your labor coverage warranty would cover LESS THAN HALF of the full cost. The part wasnt working before I even purchased it from yall. You said all parts are tested, so why didnt this broken part FAIL your "test"? Makes 0 sense. Sounds like grounds for BBB involvement. I'm surprised yall haven't been taken to small claims court before if this is business standard

Address:10171 S Stony Creek Rd, Carleton, MI (Zipcode: 48117)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedStaff was very courteous. Pricing was very reasonable would recommend to anybody in the area.
I want out there 3 weeks ago and saw a car I wanted to buy, he told me that it would be ready in a week and I went out there that Thursday and he told me it would be ready by Tuesday or Wednesday I went out there Tuesday and then he told me Call Thursday and I just called and it’s still not ready. So if you see a car that you want that’s not ready to go be prepared to be patient since he has to wait on the detective for the inspection and paperwork. I went out there yesterday, he had a couple more for me to look at and work with me on the price so I go to pick up my vehicle today 😊

These Guys Rock! Found exactly what I was after and they pulled the parts for me. It doesn’t get easier than that and the pricing is fair. And they do it all with a sense of humor.

Address:4676 Division Ave S, Wayland, MI (Zipcode: 49348)Phone:Open hours:Open from 09:00 am to 04:30 pmStatus:ClosedLoved the experience overall. Staff was very friendly and liked to joke a bit too, making it a friendly atmosphere. The inventory is huge and lots of parts to pick. I did end up picking a part that differed slightly for what fitted my car, but the staff helped me out and together we made it right. Will definitely return for future projects!
I really enjoy this yard. I drive all the way from the Jackson area to hit this place. Love that they post their inventory and keep the new stock updated on Facebook. Unfortunately, I think the I-696 construction is going to keep me from visiting as much as I currently do. Great place to get odds and ends you may need

Address:316 Burt Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI (Zipcode: 49548)Phone:Open hours:Open 24 hoursStatus:OpenCalled to check for a 2003 Chevy Avalanche Proportioning Valve, hadn't had any luck from other yards, GM was $200+. Owner called me back within a few minutes, asked me for a photo, and then when I sent it called me immediately and said he had it! Super nice fella, absolutely blew me out of the water that he had it, and the price was great! Really great end to trying to get this thing up and running, just did new lines and calipers thinking they had rusted, just to find out it was the proportioning valve that had failed, but now I can keep trying to make it nice again!

Address:1256 Milton St, Benton Harbor, MI (Zipcode: 49022)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedUnless you like nails in your tires and being cheated, Stay Away. Also, don't believe a word of their response to this feedback. I've never left negative feedback for any business, but BMR earned this one. I brought them 35 pounds of heavy gauge solid copper wire. They quickly removed the pile from the scale and dumped it, then only credited me for mixed-alloy stranded wire (worth 40% less). I'm an experienced recycler, so I wrote to ownership and gave them a chance to make it right. They did nothing. Any business that would rather cheat someone out of $25 instead of working to earn repeat customers is a business to avoid.REPLY TO BMR: No return letter was ever received at either my physical address or email. My letter also contained my home phone number, which was never called. The wire I brought in was standard household copper wiring (romex and cloth covered), not "very heavily insulated" wire, and the nail in my tire occurred during a previous visit to your scrap yard area. As far as checking the payout slip, what good would it have done? The wire had already been comingled with other scrap. I wrote you a polite letter explaining what happened, then waited 2 weeks for a response before leaving this review.

Address:71 W Mcnichols Rd, Highland Park, MI (Zipcode: 48203)Phone:Open hours:Open from 08:30 am to 15:00 pmStatus:ClosedI highly recommend this location! I had the pleasure of working with Raj who went above and beyond to help me and wasn’t just interested in taking my money. After calling around everywhere for a motor for my truck, he was the only person that actually showed a genuine interest in getting my truck back on the road. He helped me out tremendously, and my part even came with a great extended warranty for a great price. I will never do business anywhere else when it comes to my cars. I’m forever grateful to Raj & will recommend this location to anyone.
The counter guy Rob sold me a door for my 2007 F 450 I sent a guy down to look at it. And noticed that it had a dent in it and was able to talk it down from $200 to 188.50 but it still needed to be pulled off of the vehicle so I would have to return to get the door once my driver got back to our shop. He called and said it was sold already but wouldn’t give me my money back but would find me a new door. He told me he had one. That they had just gotten from an auction so it hadn’t been taken off yet. I sent a guy down to pick it up but it was going to cost me an extra $120 When looking the door over Rob realize that the door had some issues with it and the person that was supposed to pick up the previous door didn’t show up for it so he sold me my same door that was sold to me for $188.50 for an extra $120 Noticing there was a problem with the seam of the door I asked for a refund and I was told there would be a restocking fee of $50 for him to take the door back. while he was on the phone with me. I asked him to have his manager, call me and He told me that his manager will just tell me to F Off, so I have been forced to take the door. The manager never did call me back.
Highly recommended place to get the best quality cars parts for most of the years makes and models, honest and friendly staff that work hard to get you to the right solution, great prices, perfect fitment….THANK YOU SPECIALWAY AUTO PARTS
