Selling my vehicle through Cash for Cars was a mostly painless experience — the initial transaction was smooth, and the staff I spoke with were helpful. However, the process of scheduling the vehicle pickup was frustrating. Because this is a large operation, there are multiple departments involved (sales, dispatch, and the towing yard), and the communication between them wasn't great. No one clearly explained the steps after the sale, so I was left confused about what to expect. I was told the car would be picked up on a Monday, waited around all day, only to be informed later that it was still in the queue and might be picked up the next day — while I was scheduled to be at work. Clearer communication about the pickup process would’ve gone a long way toward making the whole experience better.
