My vehicle was at Copart-Ionia for 7 weeks. My first visit to make sure it was weather proofed showed me there was items missing from the vehicle. No one affiliated with Copart claimed any knowledge of where those parts were. On my second visit, with the assistance of the yard guy George, we found a missing wheel/tire combo in a discard pile. This was a new wheel/tire setup. 400 miles on it. Perfect condition that they removed from the rear seat and threw away. Matt in the office blamed it fully on the tow truck driver that brought my vehicle there. There were miscellaneous parts in the back of the vehicle that have never been found. After my insurance claim was settled, I bought the vehicle back. Still no parts that they removed. They are shady. They stole parts from my vehicle. No one cares. I’m out $600 for the missing parts. Good luck to you if you ever decide to buy a vehicle from them or get your vehicle back after a claim settlement

I’ve been to many copart lots but this is absolutely the worst so crowded with too many vehicles in a huge mud lot both where you load and where they store cars.. had to drive my truck inside because they don’t load big vans with their forks.. lady at counter was nice and forklift driver was helpful but that lot has so many pot holes I ended up damaging my truck’s suspension..

I wish i could give this place negative stars. They told me they could not load me because they were too busy and i did not have an appointment. I was there at 11am, and not one person was in the parking lot. I was the only transporter there but because their appointments were all booked they would not help me. They had forklift drivers just standing there. I had my dispatch call them and they still told us no. I was literally the only person in the parking lot, but they told me they would not load me and were super rude about it. Had to leave without the car I drove 300 miles there to get. Worst Copart in the midwest.

Purchased a car today, could not get it today for a lack of appointments. Their transport is about 4-5 weeks out. Had to wait until next Friday to get it. Add on another $30 storage. I remember when intelligent people ran this and other yards. Copart is there to screw customers at every opportunity.

Horrible customer service. 4 hours wasted driving there. I'm the only one in the lot, workers are standing around talking, no fork lifts are moving. There is literally no one waiting to be loaded. Big mama behind the counter with an even bigger attitude, acting like I interrupted her lunch at 9am says to make an appointment. I advise her the app is down. She says then we are all booked up. I point out the empty lot & the loaders still outside smoking & hanging around doing absolutely nothing at the moment. She refuses to help me. Sorry for bothering you. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Easy accesability to walk the yard, but need an orange reflective vest. Was reading other reviews about this location but to my surprize were very friendly, informative and helpful. It was my first dealing with Coparts. Treat people with respect if you want respect back. I did feel that some of the fees were a bit high. But everybody has to make a living. Vehicle was brought from out back relatively fast. I was there a total of 35 minutes and on my way.

Will never bother to bring another vehicle to sell. They refused to light a dash to show miles. Was told we wouldn’t be charged and was still charged. Horrible company. They get off Scott free with everything. Karma will eventually make way to this company. Beware buyer or seller.

Yard is disgusting huge mud pit. Got loaded reasonably quick, was 2 hours early for appointment, office ladies were friendly. That’s the only good thing about this place. Vehicle was missing keys after documents and photos proved otherwise. Parts from vehicle magically disappeared also. Wouldn’t recommend buying from this yard.

No issues with the car I bought but this whole appointment only pick up is just a huge un-organized mess people go there from hours away just to get turned around and tow trucks sit for hours till they can get their cars loaded, my tow guy wouldn’t even go to that location so I had to go just to show up to a giant mud pit in the whole yard. Their loading area is overflowed by cars cause they take a million years to send cars out cause of the dumb appointment only. Only copart location like this I was shocked

They need to be shut down, so terrible. Matter of time till they go out of business. Legally stealing parts and selling unsafe to drive vehicles. Matter of time till someone dies and they are found liable.
