Coultas is my number one place to go when I need car parts, car essentials, and tires for cheap. They've always had a great selection of car parts, inexpensive essentials such as batteries, motors, transmissions, and all other heart-of-the-car necessities, and even provide decently used tires as well as new at a reasonably affordable price. They have always been helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming regardless of what I needed and/or ISO. It's a fantastic place for broke people like myself.

It's interesting. And I've never been to a salvage yard before. The staff are friendly and personable and helpful. Be sure to bring tools and something to carry your parts. They do offer wagons for use in the yard. But for the most part you are on your own. Have a plan or at least remember where all the areas are and visit all of them for your parts. I went when it was somewhat cool, I can only assume that bugs, wasps, bees, varmints, and snakes may visit when it gets warmer. Be aware.

If one star was possible, I would. Would not let either of us in because one of us wasn’t 18. Horrible rule.

I have been in business for years dealing with hundreds of different used parts sellers. Cultas stuff really must to learn how to do customer service not thinking they are God and they can apply rules that disregard any laws! They also must to work on their website when it comes to vehicles they have in their yard. When went to their yard and asked for vehicle they listed in the website for available to pull parts I was told I can’t pull parts out of it and this vehicle is not in their yard. I was given an option to order the part then come back in 4-5 business days to pick it up. I showed them this vehicle is listed as available and I was told “we don’t care about you or whatever you are showing us “! “ we also do not care how far (4 hours) you are going to have waisted “. I gave them a second chance and called so they can prepare me the part and I can pick it up in a week. Well this time they asked me to drive again just to personally go in a different location to see and approve the part then drive again in a week to pick it up. This is the first place that has ever suggested such a non sense. I asked them for pictures to be sent to me then I was even suggesting to pay for the part before it is even pulled up and answer was no we have our own rules for everything and disregarding everybody. Such a business does not deserve license and option to exist.

Never get service or parts here unless you want to be disappointed and disrespected, Jason the manager and john in parts are very rude, they do not listen and will cut you off while talking then hang up on you , do not go here they make up rules on if and how you can return a part and john says it is their terminology , when you buy a part they do not even tell you about the part at all size and weight wise , and then it's up to you to deal with

Super friendly helpful staff, good prices; salvage yard is laid out in an easy-to-understand grid. Bring your own tools to get what you need. They do offer the option to get it for you. All-around very enjoyable experience.

Coultas is amazing!!! Had a heater blower motor go out. It's been freezing outside. We spent 2 hours trying to find the motor. Had 4 different staff members trying everything to help us. Was finally going to give up and order one off line. When one of the staff members went out to search for us. After about 20 min and 3 vehicles later. He found one for us that fit and worked for us. They even waited for us to make sure it worked before we purchased it. They are very dedicated to their customers and definitely dont give up. Thank you all for your help and the heat we now have in our suburban!

I've been coming to this place for years for used car parts. You bring your own tools, they give you a list and a map, and you go parts hunting. Their prices are very fair and they have a 30 day exchange policy if the part doesn't work or is the wrong one. The yard is clean and well picked up and the check in/out area is clean and well maintained. Definitely a great place to get parts on a budget.

I’ve been coming to Coultas for the occasional car part for years. Recently I arrived late at 4:34pm and was informed of a new rule that is not posted on the website. That being no customers are allowed in the yard after 4:30pm. I had made an hour and a half drive and I was ok with not being allowed to pull any parts but there was ample time for me to inspect the only two vehicles in the yard to see what if any parts were left on them to warrant me making the drive again. I was told it would take me at least 15 minutes just to get to one of the vehicles. I know the layout of the yard well and I don’t walk slower than a turtle. Needless to say I find myself questioning if I will ever return to Coultas in the future after this experience.

Their website says they have a ton of parts in stock but when you get there the parts are in a special lot that they won't let you pull the parts off of yourself and they cost a lots more money say a $30 hood that they get you come in to purchase really cost $100 because the $30 Hood they have is destroyed or not the color they say it is. And that's not random examples that's exact pricing on a negative visit that I just experienced. The staff isn't very friendly either they are real smug like you can't get parts anywhere else but from them so they don't try to help you . and I didn't over look anything you told me on the phone before I drove an hour that you had those parts. I've been going here for years. I'm sorry you got so commercialized. and stopped selling salvaged parts at salvaged prices. I had a great day I bought the parts I needed at a better price from Paul's auto salvage in terre haute. i used to tell everyone how great coultas was. but if this is how you treat long time customers. I won't be back .

Friendly staff. Well organized mostly dry yard on gravel. Weather was windy and it had rained earlier in the day, but we were able to walk through and find every vehicle on our list with dry feet.

After dealing with other recycling places, Coultas has consistently been the best and most helpful. Great customer service and great prices, you can’t beat them. The drive is about 45 minutes longer than any of the closer places for me to go to, but it’s definitely worth it.

I've been going here for awhile now, I will not be returning. They have a great selection of parts and services, but I lost my wallet there in the lobby and nobody was any help about it. They have cameras there but apparently didn't see anything. That's ashame, I liked it here

Been going for a few years now and my recent trip has changed a 5 star rating to a 2. Here's a few reasons why I have it 2 stars. 1. There are several lots full of vehicles. You can now only access the main lot unless you have supervision. Understandable for safety reasons but cars are rarely swapped out into the main lot. 2. Being a car audio enthusiast I enjoy looking for decks, wire, and speakers. Before the cars make it out to the main lot all of that is pretty well stripped by workers. They sell some at the front area but its laughable. I would spend hundreds of dollars there if they wouldnt take it all out. 3. Touching more on the 1st part. Another reason why they restrict the other lots is because of stealing. Understandable, it happens at every business. The prices are so low on these parts how can somebody even steal enough for the company to be worried?? Most expensive part is usually the engine and I doubt anyone could do that without being detected. All in all it never used to be like this. To access other lots all you would need is signed permission with the request you take no parts that would not allow the vehicle to move. Now you only have access to about 50% to inventory.
