My Vehicle was towed there on 19 January 2025. Made an appointment for 21 January 2025 to retrieve my personal property from my Vehicle. I followed their rules. Because it's their ball, their bat, and their field. The Employee that escorted me was very helpful to me. Especially since it was cold because of the snow storm that had passed through. They are business minded and have rules in the cause of safety and security. My Vehicle was locked when I got to it. Which means they take their business seriously. I would use them in the future.

Typical bottom feeder towing company. When they’re not busy they’ll hunt for low hanging fruit at apartment complexes and lots on their own initiative to steal your money. To get your car back they lock you in a bullet proof room straight out of a horror movie to take your money. Just leeches who charge you hundreds to move a car 2 miles across town from an open parking lot.

Absolute 0/5. Sick company. Prey on college students to scam their money. I parked for just one minute before entering McDonald’s, and this guy followed me all the way and towed my car right in front of me. Don't use any kind of service from this company.

Run! I would give them a zero if I an option. Do not use this towing company because they will rip you off. Plus they will tell you big windys!! They Take advantage of people! They have a monopoly going! No people skills nor compassion! Shame on them! Owned by the Court family. Caused me so much extra stress! Father God knows.

Parked at Taco Bell was going to get food but decided to first check on my bronchitis/ pneumonia prescriptions at cvs NEXT DOOR by the time I came out my car was getting towed I saw the tow truck drive off at a distance. The sign says parking for Taco Bell customers which I was as I got food from there after. Saw a guy preying on me that looked like he was out to find cars to tow. Must’ve seen me walk off and get right to it because it was gone within 10 minutes. I had my Taco Bell receipt and my food and they still made me pay. I was wrongfully towed and it’s horrible of them to prey on college students. $335 is an incredibly high and unreasonable price especially for the short amount of time they had my car. Absolutely ridiculous.

Bottom tier towing company, should be sued for how they handle business and their policy’s, they prey on young college students to make money. How low do you have to go for that. They also won’t even let a friend come inside the building to retrieve your car. Also take bad care of your car, came back to seeing dents on the side and scratches on my exhaust. Bottom tier company that deserves to be shut down. Would give a no star if I could. A bunch of sick people who work here preying on young college students.

Terrible customer service will not work with you on anything. Everyone take an 1.5 hour lunch break at the same time at 12 so if you need an earlier time and only need 5 minutes of their time they will not help you. Worst experience I've had with customers service...I rather call American Airlines than work with these people

Complete jerks!! They prey on poor college students trying to find a place to park and get their medicine at the CVS. 334.00 for four minutes of parking. This place should be sued for bad business practices!!

Do not ever use this towing service. They have the worst business practices and are taking advantage of sick college kids going into the CVS near the university. Shame on them for taking advantage of people. The worst customer service I have ever experienced!

If I could leave ZERO stars, it would be too many. Worst business practices I’ve ever experienced. Sad that there are people in the world that are this low. Needing a tow is already not a pleasant experience, but leave it to this company to make it even worse.

We were parked by 717 University Drive the sign states that we have 10 minutes to pay for parking going up to look at a customers job coming down in the process of paying online. They told our vehicle within Three minutes they’re parking lot vultures business must be really bad if They don’t even give you the amount of time to pay for parking and they already have your car on the flatbed

Signed over my title because they were going to charge more than the car was worth for the weekend of storage and towing. Then someone somehow got ahold of the plates and drove around in a different car with them...really shady stuff.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I parked next to the CVS off of University and ran inside for a thank you card. The sign said to register your car within 10min. Tried the QR code and it didn’t work for me. I was going to be inside for less than 5 min so I didn’t bother trying harder. That was a $325 mistake. My car was gone once I walked outside and I had to schedule an appointment to get it back. They must really enjoy stealing money from students.

Why am I forced to schedule getting stuff out of my car and then told I have to wait 20-30 minutes after my appointment time to actually see my car. Doesn’t quite make sense

Probably the worst towing company I’ve ever dealt with :) I was towed from a parking lot across from CVS which I fully take responsibility for as it was a pay lot, however the website would not pull up on my phone and I tried for a good 10 minutes before deciding it wasn’t going to work and I have the flu, so all I needed was to run inside and grab my prescription and go. Which is exactly what I did, not even 5 minutes I was in there and came back out and my car was towed meaning they were literally waiting in the parking lot to tow someone. I called excel towing and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and I was so overwhelmed, so I hung up and had to get an Uber in the rain all because I just wanted my medicine that took me 5 minutes to get. Mind you, the towing yard is less than 10 minutes from where I was towed and I was virtually right behind them, so I was charged $321 for them to drive my car 10 minutes from where it was parked and have it a total of 15 minutes! I fully understand enforcing parking rules and I even understand having to pay a reasonable fee but almost $400 for having my car for 15 minutes is literally insane. Don’t bring any business here. I’m very thankful that I can make that back come rent, but doing this to people in this economy is just sad. You guys should really be ashamed. Imagine if it was your kid .

I don't know what everyone is complaining about (yeah I kind of do; Play stupid games WIN stupid prizes!), we had nothing but the most positive experience with this towing company. The office staff are friendly, professional, and answer right away every time! They are just hard working people too like the rest of us. Thank You Excel Towing for being there for us when my daughter got rear-ended and we needed you. And also Thank You for being there as well when other citizens are not being such good citizens to others.

very good costumer service. the woman over the phone was so sweet and calming because i was super stressed out. the man that came (feel super bad i can't remember his name) was super sweet and reassuring throughout the whole situation especially since the other towing company was rude and said they couldn't help before stranding me causing me to call excel instead. will definitely be recommending them to all my friends!

Horrible company, complete scam. We were inside CVS for less than 5 minutes and the car was towed so they must literally be waiting in the lot to tow people. I don’t know how it’s even physically possible to tow a car that quickly. Went to pick up the car 15 mins later and was charged $350 and they were very rude. The office is in a shabby run down house and there was a long wait to pick up the car and while waiting outside 30 minutes saw them tow in at least 5-6 other cars. The person in line ahead of us was also towed from the same lot and she was inside CVS for less than 2 minutes. When it was finally my turn to go inside the office and pay for my car, it took over 20 mins to get checked out because they kept stopping to answer the phone from other people calling about their cars.

Very hard to work with. Hard to get appointment to see my daughters wrecked vehicle. Only 1 person can see the car. Will not accept payments over phone. Had to take off work twice to go up there. Wanted $100.00 more than other towing companies in area to tow it from their yard to my house. Would not use this company. This company was only used because car was towed after accident by police.

Horrible….do not use! My father was recently in a wreck and they were recommended by the College Station police. Why, I have no idea! My father made an appointment to retrieve his personal items out of his truck and my husband drove him there. My father is 88 years old and this company refused to let my husband go with my father and help him get his personal items. They allow one person at a time and you have to be on the vehicle owners insurance. Some young guy drove my father in a golf cart to his truck and my father unloaded several items and brought them back to my husband‘s truck and my husband unloaded them. My husband asked if the young guy had helped my father and he had not. My husband told the young guy to help my father unload the tools from his toolbox because he was 88 years old and didn’t need to be doing that by himself. The guy did help but, my gosh, you shouldn’t have to be told to help if you’re refusing to let my husband in to help him. Do NOT USE THEM!!

Not from here and parked next to a busy shopping center and was not aware that the parking wasn't for all customers and when I came out of the store my car was gone. I had absolutely no idea who had took it and reported it stolen. Later I found out from the store employees that excel towing had towed my car. When I called to find out about my car they told me it would be 360$ to get my car back. I explained to them I wasn't from here didnt know anybody and had no way of getting to my car. They didn't care. Told them I wasn't aware of the towing zone again cause I was not from there and they still didn't care. They have no sympathy for anyone's situation they just want thier money..... And before you can say I wasn't a customer... I was the one you left stranded.... the car may be in my husband's name and he did come to pay your ridiculous fee to retrieve "MY CAR" but I assure you I was the customer... Your company is a rip off and you ALL should be ashamed of yourselves...I wasn't even in the store for two minutes. So that tells me that you lay and wait to screw the next person as a way to make an income... YOU ARE ALL WORTHLESS INDIVIDUALS!!

A very, very predatory towing company. Charged over $300 for a 5 mile tow and impound of 20 minutes. We parked in the wrong spot for 15 minutes, gotcha, but just ridiculous. If you’re an out of towner reading this mad af, I feel your pain.

This driver knocked over one of those orange pylons on 2818 between Bush and Hwy 60 My guess is they were heading to the lot. Fortunately, the pylon didn't bounce into the road and there were no workers nearby. Steer clear of these. He was swerving all over the place!!

As a business owner looking for a towing partner I would look somewhere else, as Ive seen two examples that they are incompetent as a partner. I had a roommate whose car was parked at her own apartment with the correct tags who was towed anyway, and had to work together with the property management for 2 hours while they tried to explain to Excel that they impounded a car incorrectly. Secondly when the car was finally returned (They still charged her, the property eventually just decided to pay for it) it was so scratched up that she had to pay extra to get it fixed. Overall just a terrible place with management that doesn't prioritize its partners, businesses and apartments please look for other towing partners because this one is only going to cause issues.

They towed my car from my apartment complex, but not only that they opened my window to take down the pass and when I came to pick it up, somehow the window was open and they had made the parking pass fall. Also, the people working there were rude and condescending for absolutely no reason. One still pays for this service, so it would be nice if they had good customer service and be nice to people because they get paid to tow your car, either if you call or they decide to tow your car somewhere.

Unethical business... The tow truck driver knew the parking tag was on the dash but he lied and said he couldn't see it so he towed my car... I will consider the $300 I paid them as a donation since they are desperate for money...

A VERY unprofessional company. They towed my wife's car that was parked AT the cafe while she was waiting on the order from the same cafe (i.e. she was a legitimate customer of that cafe). The car was parked there for 9 minutes. Clearly, they are trying to make money and rip off innocent people. They wouldn't even listen to us.

Had to pickup personal belongings after a total loss collision. Made an appointment as stated and staff was professional and let me get all my stuff with no fuss. Didn't need to do anything else as insurance would handle everything else. Just had to sign in and provide ID and I was good to go!

Darrel needs a raise!!! I was stranded for 6 plus hours dealing with some janky roadside assistance company that gave me the run around on two previous schedulings to come pick up or fix flat but they never showed. Finally got in touch with Excel for towing and he came to the rescue. God bless u sir and ur family. Merry Christmas!!! Thanks for getting me off the highway and to the Toyota dealership.
