Kind of a mixed review here. Depending on the guy you speak with, the customer service can either be pretty good or pretty terrible. They are almost always very rude on the phone and the answer to any of your questions is typically "you'll have to come in and see". They have a very large selection of cars to pull from, so if you know what you are looking for, you have a good chance of finding it. Once you find it you take it to the front desk and they guestimate a good price for you, sometimes pretty reasonable, but sometimes it feels like a waste of time and effort. I'd recommend going here for a random part that you can't find on Amazon, like a body panel, engine parts, or interior pieces but not for much else.

Great wrecking yard, I been going here for over 35 years, friendly service, great prices ask for Ronnie, he will get you a good deal, you can get the parts your self or they will get the part for you.

Seems a little pricey for used parts but in the long run it saves a little money if you don't get a flat tire looking for your part and if you're a man you get better deals that's just in my experience

This is literally the largest junkyard I have ever been to. They literally have thousands of cars. If you are looking for a oddball part for an old rare car they are you best bet. I have only bought a couple parts from there but their prices have been incredibly reasonable.

Excellent service even tho they were short handed due to illness. Gentleman up front was very knowledgeable about what I needed and helped in every way possible even found a better part for me than I had found. If you have need of any parts I would highly recommend you try these folks first....save yourselves lots of money and lots of time searching. Plus they have many many acres of vehicles lined up neatly with clearly visible numbered rows and easy access. You can drive you car in on well maintained rows to view your needed parts before the folks there pull them off for you . My thanks to these folks.

The man that answers the phone at this place is not helpful and extremely rude. I call to ask about a possible part and was told to have my husband call back so he could explain it better. Then as he was hanging up he stated “I don’t understand why these men have their wives call..” My husband then called and was cut off before he could even finish asking his question. He said “Nope we don’t have Any Lincolns” My husband then proceeded to explain that any 2.0 Ford motor would have this part and he said “we don’t have those either” and hung up!

I went here today, AWESOME PLACE! I could not find what I was looking for but I am going back and looking again... seen a bunch of great replacement parts that I needed more time to remove. Definitely going back. Great selection. Laid back vibe. 10 star place honestly.

There's a $10 base price so hopefully the item is worth your time and money. I spent an hour to find mine. I could've should've would've spent twice as much $20 for a brand new piece but I was unaware of the prices until after I had bought the part in. Considering I did the work myself only to save $10 I'm using Amazon from now on. It cost at least $2-3 in gas plus 1hr of my time. Neat experience but most likely my last.

Guy has a crappie attitude and they just expect you to go back there and know where what your looking for is. I recommend anywhere but here. Just a headache and a 3 hour waste of time

Looking for parts outthere for me is fun. They have great variety of cars and I like that they allow you to drive into the back where all cars are. Been to a wrecking yard in nebraska with my brother and they make you walk. Charge you to get in and charge you extra if you want to use a wheel barrow.

Awesome scrap yard! Not only was it "Uggggeee" it had everything I was looking for plus more. Customer service made you feel right at home as well. Only possible negative thing I could say is you might have to do a little extra hunting as some of the cars are pretty stripped down next to nothing, but I love treasure hunting so wasn't an issue to me. I would also say do your research ahead of time as to if any other (model or year) vehicles may have the same part as they have a little of everything and it may speed up your visit. Good luck with your hunt!

There are literally hundreds of cars to pick parts from. If you can't pull it yourself they will pull it for you for a little extra. I've seen 60s model pickup to late model sports cars out there. The service as well as the prices are great!

Was told they had the best prices for junking a vehicle. Its been 48 hours since I called them. They have never called or been here to get the vehicle. I found someone else and got a much better offer than they offered me.

Good junkyard to look for what you need. It was very muddy the day we went. So be careful and protect your inside car. We found what we needed for my husband's truck. Paid a good price👍

Great prices!! Great selection of cars this place is huge!! Most of the vehicles have great parts on them prices aren't too bad on certain things. For a little history lesson on the place see the plaque by the wall it's pretty interesting!

These are great guys working out here and willing to go out of their way to help you. I've been pulling parts out here for years... There is an abundance of good used parts. Many thanks to them.

Very fair on pricing. Some of the counter guys little intimidating could be bit more helpful in explaining to new customers. Will always work with you if part doesn't work or wrong

Can I give them -5 stars? Only go here if you are an honest person. Who invites the counter attendent to come out to you truck, so they can tell you what you owe on the three armloads of stuff you have, just so you can be called a thief when they see something you can prove you bought at another yard earlier that day. Go here if you like being falsely accused of stealing parts...even if that part is a completely assembled small block V8, because you're The Hulk and picked that thing up by all by yourself and put it in the bed of your truck. Go here if you want your own vehicle severely damaged by the yard's owner because he doesn't listen to reason. Go here if you like to be falsely imprisoned but no cops are called to arrest and charge you with alleged theft. Go here if you don't want an apology, or reimbursement for damages, when the truth comes out and FM 600 realizes they were in the wrong. Go here if you want to pay more than something is worth and after you've spent half the day looking for it and removing it yourself. Seriously, screw this place...go somewhere else. Everything above I wrote is a fact. It might have happened years ago, but nonetheless, it occured.

600 has roughnecks for employees, except for Antonio who has kindness and consideration. They remind me of modern day bone heads. One employee coughed right at me; who cares about transmission of germs, I guess? Elbow cough was not taught by their teachers I assume. They are not helpful except for Antonio. Basically, most of the employees suck except for Antonio.

Abilene has a very large and well stocked auto salvage business. It’s so large, they allow you to drive to see it all.

Huge wrecking yard with many older vehicles. I've been redoing my Moms old Geo Metro and having trouble finding parts. Went there and they gave me a map of the wrecking yard with the location of all the Metros, complete with car color and year model for each. Although you have to pull your own parts, I was able to find some hard to find brackets. Very pleased with the outcome. This will be my go to place for unique auto parts from now on.
