Great, honest business. Charles got my truck right no matter what the situation may have been. I had a 5.3 long block swap, rack n pinion, and a few other things done. 100% satisfied with the end result.

I purchased a motor for $1600 from Genesis that was advertised as "in working order with 111,000 miles". I had a mechanic do an engine swap. Immediately after the swap, the most obvious issue was low oil pressure 5psi at idle. I sent Genesis a video of the issue, asking for help with what they thought may be the issue. I paid a shop to replace the oil pressure sensor, that did not fix the issue. Genesis sent me an oil pump and DOD lifters, I replaced with no change. Throughout I kept in touch with Genesis as to the results. I asked Genesis if i pulled the motor and shipped it back to them (on my dime, again) if they would give me a refund, as the motor had a 6 month warranty period. They received the motor at 6 months and 2 days. I was told at that time, that their finance dept would not be refunding me. And I would need to pay again to have the motor shipped back to me in MN. Another $200. So at that point I've paid over $600 in extra shipping and service. I received the motor back, put it back in my truck and took it to an LS specialist shop that comes highly regarded. I asked that they look into the oil pressure issue. After lengthy inspection, the likely cause is failure of cam, crankshaft, or rod bearings. This motor was obviously not in working order, not to mention that I never really got a straight answer on how many miles were on the motor when it was pulled.So now I'm over $800 invested beyond the $1600 cost of the motor, if the motor was healthy.That does not include any of my time, as I pulled the motor and reinstalled myself after paying a mechanic to do it the first time. I pulled the motor out in an unheated garage in MN in the winter.I recently spoke with Genesis, over a year after my original purchase. We conferenced in a friend of Genesis that also said that the issue was mostly likely consistent with internal issues that would require a rebuild. After the conversation, I asked what do we do from here. Genesis again said that they werent interested in refunding any money, due to the warranty period. After pleading with them to offer a solution I told Genesis that I didn't trust them and was told that if that is how I felt, then the conversation is over. And they hung up on me.Due to Genesis implimenting an "ignore and it will go away" strategy, I am left no choice but to air my grievance here.

Bought a Gen 4 engine setup with a Magnuson Supercharger from them at a very low and deal. Installed and ran strong. Will definitely do some more business with these guys. My next project i will need a 6.2L. I also have a buddy doing a build and will send him your way. Thanks guys, you're awesome!

Worst place to call and try to get a part from they never answer there phone and when they do there very rude. Will never do business with this company ever again. They lie so much about they have a part n it will be in a certain day n then almost a month later they want to call to say they have to part in, a month later i found another part faster then what they did...just warning you going this company is no good,..Well its sounds like the same thing yall did when you gave my dad a bad review on petes automotive, when he didnt even order a part from yall, seams like the same thing when yall are bashing on a small business owner. Got my LQ4/4L80E dropout from here. It was a clean pull with everything cut or unplugged correctly. Charles was easy to communicate with and always got back with me if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend getting your project drive-train from here.

DO NOT BUY NOTHING OR MAKE BUSINESSES whit this guy he just worries just about him and not the costumerI bought a engine from him and i got in contact whit him because i was looking something whit low miles (100k thats the info he had on the app for the engine) so we agree on time and price he said it would take from 14 to 20 days to ship the item the 20 days pass and nothing he wouldn’t answer any calls then he starts making excuses about why the engine haven’t got shipped, it took him a month and 1/2 to sent the engineThen got the ecu to reprogram it to my truck and found the right information of the truck found out the it had 200k miles got in contact whit him and i ask him for the vin number of the engine and he had gave me the one I found on the ecu and after I found out the right miles he denies all the info of the truck and he doesn’t answer none of my calls after what i had ask him twice if it was the right vin number and he said it was the right one, that wasn’t the only problem i had wen i had everything to start the truck I found out the transmission he sent whit the engine was blown the gears wouldn’t shift and i try talk to him to fix and he would make excuses when it was his fault of sending something damage he wanted me to send the transmission and pay the shipping back when it wasn’t my fault I didn’t even drove the truckDONT WAITS YOUR TIME AND MONEY WHIT HIM genesis custom works
